If note is that Colbert outspent Sanford by a large margin blowing a hole in the entire "money in politics" meme. The GOP effectively turned its back on Sanford.

The few times I heard Colbert speak she barely sounded about as intelligent as Desh. Given that obvious limitation it is no surprise that Sanford won. If se was only black the dems could scream RACISM
