Republican Family Values or Lack there of

you're not always right...

and for the most part, the governator was fiscally conservative ( for the most the part, but he could never win over the lib assembly)....and he has always been liberal with regard to social issues.....i supported him for those reasons....but when he started being a politician.....he floundered....some was his fault....the bulk was that he was running up against a solid dem majority in the assembly.
Ah ok. I'll have to research more into it then. And yes Yurt, I am always right. Even when I might say something that you think is wrong, I do so merely so you proles think you have a shot at busting my chops.

Details??? I'm just as interested as the next guy in knowing the details of a story but ......

In response to the OP, Ken, I think this helps illustrate why so many Republicans disliked Arnold from the beginning, and wished that California could have elected Tom McClintock instead. As it was, I think McClintock was close to Bustamante, if not slightly ahead, as he and Arnold together raked in 60% of the vote (about 40/20).
