Remember those 17 intelligence agencies?

NSA only had "medium confidence" CIA are known liars Brennan is a career Russiaphobe.
FBI never looked at the DNC servers.Clapper is a known liar who says he would never "wittingly" lie

The Jan assessment was a lot of "trust us -we know" without any backing.

yet this is the basis for our military confrontation with Russia, and passing new sanctions just today.
( which Germany objects to)

Never fails.....these useful idiots have a Narrative for everything.

There is no "military confrontation with Russia".

Benghazi, Citizen!

At least there was something besides air to Benghazi.

Susan Rice lied about the attack being due to a video, repeatedly, on the Sunday Morning talk shows. People died and I'm still not sure why. Unless, the worlds greatest super power was impotent for hours and hours while the embassy was being attacked.

Sucked to be there, I guess.

Cold War 2.0 / various fly by's /European Reassurance Initiative

As chasm grows between a resurgent Russia and a divided US and Europe, diplomats say conflict is now more dangerous, with ‘no clear rules of the road’
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...sia-and-the-west-reheated-a-historic-struggle
The post-cold war era is over, and a new era has begun. Cold war 2.0, different in character, but potentially as menacing and founded not just on competing interests but competing values.

The reasons for all this anxiety are not hard to find. The accumulation of recent Russian provocations is daunting. The hybrid frozen war in Ukraine and the bombardment of Aleppo in Syria, revealing a determination to keep Bashar al-Assad in power, top the list.

Add to that Putin’s sudden scrapping of a 20-year-old US-Russian agreement to reprocess excess plutonium to prevent its use in nuclear weapons. He also deployed short-range, nuclear-capable Iskander-M missiles in Kaliningrad, the Russian enclave in eastern Europe, unnerving Nato members Poland and Lithuania. He moved advanced S-300 and S-400 ground-to-air missiles, and radar into Syria in a sign that he now regards the country as his preserve, and can see off any plan for a Turkish or American no-fly zone. In a display of military reach he dispatched the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, and its taskforce, to the waters off Syria so its SU-30s and MiG-29 aircrafts can drop yet more bombs on Syria.

Many acknowledge the west must take its share of the blame for the collapse of relations. The mistakes are real, notably the scale of Nato expansion to the east and in the Baltics. Russia also feels deeply that it was duped into accepting a UN resolution criticising Muammar Gaddafi in Libya in 2011, only to find it was used as cover for regime change. Hillary Clinton, then at the State Department, did little to mange the Russians. Russia has not voted for humanitarian action at the UN since.

Rice agreed to testify. However her NSA un-masking requests are now sealed as presidential papers (Obama library).
She's too cute by 1/2

No there wasn't........as 241 congressional investigations concluded. Given what it cost to produce them, the least you could do is look.

The whole "unmasking" thing is nothing but rube bait.
good for you. we can have endless investigations into "Russian collusion" that go nowhere-
but when it comes to the Rice unmaskings:

White House lawyers last month discovered that the former national security adviser Susan Rice requested the identities of U.S. persons in raw intelligence reports on dozens of occasions that connect to the Donald Trump transition and campaign, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
..that's rube bait.

I'll be marking you down as a clueless partisan, not worth much effort to respond to

Now why would you forgo crediting your source?

Lake, or Atlantic Monthly's comments on Lake?

Cause you left out this part, rube...

As Lake notes, nothing he—or anyone else—has uncovered lends credence to President Trump’s outlandish and unsupported claim that Obama ordered surveillance of him at Trump Tower prior to the election. Nor does the new story suggest any illegal behavior on Rice’s part.

Correction: June 29, 2017
A White House Memo article on Monday about President Trump’s deflections and denials about Russia referred incorrectly to the source of an intelligence assessment that said Russia orchestrated hacking attacks during last year’s presidential election. The assessment was made by four intelligence agencies — the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency. The assessment was not approved by all 17 organizations in the American intelligence community.

Does this mean the new york times, washington post, and pretty much every left leaning outlet and politician was lying when they said 17 intelligence organizations agreed Russia was the source of the hacking attacks?

did they disagree with the assesment?

not all prepared it

4 prepared it

which ones said it was inncorrect?

NONE

they all read the assesment and agreed with the findings butt bite

The events described have been greatly exaggerated and there is a non zero chance it's a complete fiction. Even if it happened there still is zero evidence they gave the info to Wikileaks, which has always maintained they got their info from an inside source.

defending trumpy?

you are transparent
