you don't understand unmasking. Rice is not an investigator-she would have very little reason to unmask -except to gain geo-political advice as head of the NSC.

The fact there were "dozens" ( when un-masking should be rare) is indicative she was a political operative here.

why would she -not being an investigator -be "asked to unmask?" unless it was part of the plan to sew raw intelligence/generate reports,and spread the reports across the IC for leakage?

That's idiotic.....

She was NSA.......and the matter had been brought to the attention of the US by foreign intelligence services. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her unmasking those individuals.
