I'm sure it was agreed that they would say that she had resigned of her own accord. Because if she hadn't, chances are they would have removed from the position. Do I have proof of that? We know there was a conversation between the board president and Stephanie=what do you think they chatted about? Remember, Stephanie doubled down and said she would do it over if she had a chance... With that much "conviction" about having done nothing wrong, why would she not stand strong to hang onto her "position"?

The initial information, which now seems to have been buried, is that she was removed from her Executive position on the board and then she resigned completely from the board.

If what she did was so noble; why would she resign, instead of remaining on the board and pushing for other local businesses to follow suit?

Exactly...I'm sure there was a "discussion". She just didn't wake up, feel bad, and call the president and say "I'm out"...

Why would it be a distraction, if she felt it was so highly "principled" and the "moral" thing to do?
