WTF are you blabbing on about? Don't blame the people who voted a third party candidate or did a write in. Blame the DNC for screwing Bernie Sanders out of his candidacy earned by popular vote, thus giving the people a candidate they could not trust and whose policies they did not like; blame the registered Democrats who voted for Trump; blame the people who NEVER vote no matter what the circumstances; blame the record number of people inspired by Trump's racist, sexist, class divisive campaign that came out to vote; blame an antiquated and unrealistic electoral college for handing a victory to a candidate who did not win the popular vote; but DO NOT BLAME PEOPLE WHO EXERCISED THEIR LEGAL AND CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO VOTE FOR A CANDIDATE THAT BEST SUITED THEIR INTERESTS. This country will forever be stuck in a two party system because that's the way the system is designed.

You might as well have voted for Trump .. and if you think that's the way to progress or change .. that's really sad.
 
"Instant run-off voting" addresses this problem.
It empowers the voter to vote 3rd party, WITHOUT "wasting a vote".

When the ballots are tallied, low scoring 3rd party votes are discounted, but then the voter's 2nd choice is tallied instead.

No, what's sad is that you're essentially parroting the SOS that the two party system tells you. Read the link I provided above....and then refresh your information regarding what happened to Ralph Nader. then note that your candidate won the popular vote by a landslide....but the Electoral college (a creation from the days of approved slavery) made the choice for you.
