Trumps arrogant stupidity in thinking that his decades of documented statements wouldn't come back to bite him in the ass is not "media bias" in a political campaign...it's NEWS. Subsequently, the MSM doggedly hyped the Gop's many failed Benghazi investigations...always following the GOP narrative. What the MSM won't do is push the hard questions on either candidate during the debates....that was left up to alternative progressive media like Pacifica Broadcasting and even NPR.
The Pandora's box is the internet, which can instantly document and disperse facts that either side don't want you to read. It's up to the individual to do the homework to discern the truth.
As for the intelligence of todays youth....check out the responses regarding Occupy Wall St., or the Native protest against the pipeline or the documentations on global warming, fracking, etc.
You only look for stupid people, you'll find them.
Trump was news....simple as that....the problem for him was that it was mostly bad news from the media....guess the FACT that over 90% of them were donating and supporting
Hillary might have had something to do with that....
Taichiliberal responds: Again, the "media" didn't create Trumps documented disasters, nor did they create the plethora of lawsuits or his business failures...he did that all by himself. THAT is news. And please stop with this generalized BS about 90% of the media donating and supporting Hillary...because you don't have the documentation beyond Breitbart & Murdock media allegations, supposition and conjecture to prove that.
I didn't imply that all college kids were uninformed, but just try a random sample for yourself with simple questions about todays issues and history....
Taichiliberal responds: you stated: "If you know some college student now, just ask them who fought in our Civil War, or what the Vietnam War was all about, or who the VP is today and see what they know....
its pitiful ......" the implication being that they are not informed and have a basic ignorance about this country's history in general. Since we're in America and speaking English, that is the only conclusion one can draw...especially when you just merely repeat that inference here.
I remember some of the Occupy Wall St. people getting interviewed on the news and most didn't have a clue on exactly what the hell they were protesting....though some did....
Taichiliberal responds: Your personal experiences and interpretations of current events and history on these boards have a history of being dubious at best. Since you rarely reveal exactly where you get your information, I doubt you would be willing to provide some type of documentation, as the Occupy movement received a LOT of media coverage.
The internet is a great tool for information, but it would be fool-hearty to actually believe everything you read there.... everyone can find something to reinforce their
already perceived views and biases.....even global warming.
