Romney's a good man, and probably would have been at least an above average president.

Even Romney isn't perfect.
Mitt made his fortune w/ LBO's.
That means:
he'd borrow money to buy a viable business;
take that business over,
fire a lot of workers to increase the profit
and then sell at a profit.

It made him $rich!
But it cost a lot of workers their jobs.

$Trump's even worse. How many times has Trump stiffed his business partners? Declared bankruptcy so he didn't have to pay?
Trump actually had a gambling casino go bankrupt. How the %$#@ can a gambling casino go bankrupt?!

Yes.
Hillary is imperfect to.
In fact, there seems to be a perpetual shadow of scandal that surround both Clinton's.
But all in all; considering the widespread concern about Trump among Democrats, independents, and even prominent Republicans; Hillary seems to be the best choice.

I've voted Libertarian before. I might have considered voting for G. Johnson. But Gary is a goofball.

How would you propose doing. There are millions of smart and compassionate people in America that share very differing views. The idea that 320 million people can sit down and come to an agreement on something as important as the Constitution every 19 years is crazy imo. Nor would it be good for our economy and thus the country as a whole.

This is a democracy good brother .. and if we truly believe in the functions of a democracy, we'd figure it out. 320 million people choose one president every 4 years.

In my opinion, the biggest impediment would not be the American people, it would be the corporations who control/own us.

On the outside of the box, it says democracy. Inside the box, we are a full-blown plutocracy .. and therein lies the real challenge.

Read your history and then maybe, but not likely, you'll understand why calling what I say "stupid" is ignorant. (I say unlikely because you are obviously closed-minded.)

Look at the strategy of the controlling interest then with today: government controlled health care, gun control (leading to confiscation), militarization of the police, control of the press, and the telling of the lie that the rich got that way by taking from the poor. Nazi Germany is the most well-known parallel, but there are dozens of examples throughout history.
