R admits voter ID is trump win

That is not the way voter fraud usually works. Those poll workers who are willing to illegally pack a ballot box use the names of people who did not vote that day and sign their names and cast a ballot in their name. Illegal activities by poll workers and mail-in ballots are the two most common types of fraud.

“Most common” and “common” are two different things.

you know its awfully hard to catch someone voting under their grandmother's name if you don't bother asking if he is his grandmother.........its like saying there are no underaged kids buying alcohol if you don't card them at the check out.......

That is what you responded? Damn, take a break. that was dumb.

This proves that voter ID laws work.

Bullshit. It suppressed the vote and ALLOWED Trump to win because legal voters were prevented from voting

I understand that to Republicans achieving a favorable outcome for their party is all that matters but...

This is why I usually don't bother engaging you troll. You've got nothing.

...he said as he engaged once again!

Anyway...a special thanks is in order...and even though I think you are a jerk, here is that thanks:

THANK YOU, Boy, for the sentence, "I didn't ask you any questions you doddering old fool. Now wipe the fucking drool off your chin and answer my fucking question...

It is not often one gets to laugh that hard at any post!

An ID is no more a hurdle than registering to vote and is free in most states and is not even required for mail-in ballots in most cases. Some states even have mobile vans to issue IDs. Voter registration does not even require a person to prove citizenship.

I agree voter fraud is not a big issue (including Russians) and ID's are probably unnecessary; but I also don't believe voter suppression is an issue. No studies have shown voters who cannot vote because they lack the necessary documentation to get one. Some reports show the ID were not even being asked for in some precincts. The AG in this thread "suggested" IDs were a problem, not that he "admitted" they won WI and he had no evidence to support his claim.

Voter impersonation fraud is not a big issue and neither is voter suppression--they are made-up talking points to give partisans something to get incensed about.

And no Republicans want to end Social Security or Medicare. There are about 435 candidates for the House, I challenge you to show me one campaigning to end these programs. I have a very conservative Congressman and I got a brochure recently in which he prominently claimed he was for protecting these programs.

Jesus H. Christ, Flash...some Republicans have admitted the reason for legislation of this sort was to suppress the vote that favors Democrats.

When you vote you have to sign the register. If you were to sign someone else's register...there would be a record of two people trying to vote on that one signature.

It just doesn't happen.
not if ACORN sent in the registration.......they filed enough fake voter registrations to drive their buses of homeless people from precinct to precinct......

Attorney General Brad Schimel suggests Donald Trump won Wisconsin because of the state's voter ID law

Best thing to do is have a national voter registration drive -- make sure all voters have the proper ID/documentation whatever it is that their states are asking for -- this will either force Republicans to shut the fuck up about Voter ID -- OR -- come up with another way to depress voter turn out -- which is their WORST fear

I don't care what Republicans "admitted" or their reason for the legislation or predictions about how many people would be affected. I am talking about actual people who could not vote because they did not have the necessary documentation for a voter ID.

Clinton could have won WI if black voter turnout in urban areas would have been close to what Obama received. That lower turnout was not due to any voter ID laws but lack of enthusiasm for Hillary.

Any actual voter suppression has been negligible and is not an issue in those red states that Trump got 60+% of the votes. Some jurisdictions had higher turnout after Voter IDs were required--not because of the ID but because of the interest in the election. Voter suppression has certainly not kept Democrats from winning many offices.

I think many people wake up hoping to find another example of how their party was oppressed by the other. They love blaming misfortunes on evil forces--voter suppression, the media, illegal immigrants, gerrymandering, the "deep state."

I have seen as much evidence for voter suppression as I have that 3 million voted illegally in 2016.

when you move to a new area you provide ID to reregister

if you have your voter card you don't need an ID to vote
