Quit eating meat!

I much rather order a cheese pizza . Meats just disgusting espically burgers beacuse think about how big that cow used to be. like 660+ lbs or more and now its compacted into a little burger its just gross.

You do know that slugs are "meat" not vegetables... right?

I remember a comedy skit about slugs.

It talked about red meat and white meat, but that no one talked about the yellow meats like banana slugs.

You tried to eat a 660# burger? Geez, that would do anyone in. :cof1:

You're actually dead wrong about your first assumption, but lets let bygones be bygones.
This from the one who has been proven incorrect in every claim they have made in this thread.

You are the one who is dead wrong about the dietary habits of the ancestors (and relatives) of the human species. Most ancestors of humans were omnivorous at best (Homo Erectus, for example, who is estimated to eat mostly meat, but supplemented with roots and fruits). And some being outright carnivores (Australopithicus Africaans).

You are also dea wrong about meat being unhealthy. What is unhealthy is the drugs, chemicals, additives, etc. modern stockyards add to their animals or what they feed their animals to increase the yields of their animals. Wild meat, meat from open range animals, etc. is quite healthy. (Not to mention very good tasting.)

If you do not want to eat meat, that is your choice. But don't make it into some kind of bullshit "morality" issue. There is nothing "immoral" about being a predator. There is nothing "immoral" about killing in order to eat (or did you forget that plants are also living things?)

I would hardly consider plants has "living". Even though they technically are, they still lack the able to want the live, the same desire for life as we animals(humans included) do. Plants lack brains, they don't care what happens to themselves.

such a shocker that you compare plants to animals/humans....

That has to be the dumbest thing ever said.

Plants, while not being able to express desire in a manner in which we may understand and interpret, most certainly "care" about their survival in as much as a living organism can "care" about living and continuing to exist. It's preposterous to claim a plant grows without some internal force directing the growth. All life has a desire to live.

Where the hell do people like you get your opinions?
