question for the left

When it’s plausible the president is the victim of a conspiracy, he can and should ‘stick his nose in it’ to protect the office of the president.

lol

Spare us the conspiracy bullshit. Several of his inner circle have already pleaded guilty or are under indictment. He and his people are the SUBJECTS of an ongoing investigation. His efforts have been only to protect himself. He doesn't give a flying shit about the office itself. He brings shame upon it.

It’s plausible the president is a victim of a conspiracy—that’s not a theory but a fact.

Trump didn’t give up his constitutional rights when he was sworn in.

A "plausible fact"? Priceless!

He has no Constitutional right the the details of an investigation of himself.

Putin needs to send you in to the shop for reprogramming. The idea that the price of a table is a national security issue is one of the dumbest post on here ever.

Dude, the table price was redacted because it was considered too classified for people to see it.

It was only unredacted because of Nunes. And the Swamp wonders why people don’t trust them.

According to the left the executive shouldnt be involved in the FBI/DOJ. They also resist any attempts by the legislative to get documents from the FBI.

Which branch should have oversight over the intelligence agencies then?

The Executive should be involved in the FBI/DOJ, but if the FBI/DOJ is investigating the Executive or any issue close to him, the Executive should not have access to the specifics of that investigation until its over. The Executive should be involved in a broad oversight level, not an individual case level.

Sessions, the AG ,has power over Mueller and the investigations. He recused himself, as he should have, and gave the power to Rosenstein. The president has no power to run the investigation. All he can do is fire those in charge or find someone who will. That is what Nixon did. How did that work out?
