Question - can any Leftwinger explain the difference between SOCIALISM vs. COMMUNISM?

3. Capitalism
Bourgeoisie rule over proletariat because they own the means of production, distribution and exchange whilst proletariat sell themselves as labour. Marx saw this as exploitation.

4. Socialism
workers' organisations form dictatorship of the proletariat to rule on their behalf. Food, goods, services distributed according to need

5. Communism
Govt withers away- no need. Classless and stateless society w/ co-operation replacing competition. 'From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs'.

It is not the State but community, what works best for the group, market socialism is an entity, Europe proves that, Communism is the political extreme adopted to socialism where an authoritarian Gov't own's and runs everything

I did not know that history actual and the "Merriam/Webster" dictionary was based upon right wing talk radio. If what has been presented is not true, simply debunk it with something other than baseless accusations....i.e., objective, testable evidences.

Indeed....If you consider 'doing well' being 20 trillion dollars in debt due to the expenditure of 22 Trillion spent on Socialism over the past 50 years with the poverty level not moving 1 iota since the inception of the Great Society Programs in the 60s introduced by the democrats in order to purchase the Black and Minority votes with THE PEOPLE'S hard earned tax dollars. Socialism has brought nothing to this nation but more debt, more poverty, racism, bigotry, WAR and corrupt politicians, not to mention the greatest prison population on earth.....How's that social "Keynesian" economy working out for ya? Its been a total failure since Roosevelt attempted to spend this nation out of a depression....

Here's a visual for you .. socialism is an economic system that resides somewhere in between capitalism and communism.

Communism is a command system, a system of government, where the state owns production and allocates resources where it sees fit.

Socialism exists very well here in the US .. and its growing. Look no further than republican failure to repeal Obamacare. Socialism.

Of course the US is no longer the "greatest nation" on earth....it used to be...before the bad credit down grades, the debt, the poverty, all the lost jobs, a reduction in military might due to socialism, etc., The US is no longer that shinning light atop a hill to be used as an example of freedom/liberty around the world....today the US is wallowing in the valley right along side all the mud people thanks to SOCIALISM. Simply debunk the source of the Heritage Foundation.....the United States Government agencies. You will find a prompt at the end of the article. Go down the list and debunk each agencies numbers One at a Time. You will not because YOU CANNOT. All you do is toss out left wing ad hominem insults...Saul Alinsky style. The truth is something that cannot be refuted, its not an opinion, everything that I present I back up with History Actual that is documented and testable, Applied Science, or the science of mathematics. Refute them if you can....but...you can't, thus the personal insults.
