Pursuant to law, Congress asks IRS Director for 6 years of Trumps tax returns. . .

Nope. It followed what you said.

You claimed that all right wingers are nutjobs, so I called you out for your bigotry.

Bigotry is a specific form of the Compositional Error Fallacy.

You don't understand the difference between bigotry and insult. Google it.

Precisely the point I was making. :)

In the case of Obama, it was a Constitutional issue; in this case with Trump, it is not.

It was a made up issue, not a real one. The facts showed the truth; RWNJs ignored the facts in favor of supporting a fallacy.

You can dance around this all you like and I know you said it was stupid.
Nobody is "dancing around" anything; they are simply referencing Article II of the US Constitution.

But there was ZERO reason to believe Obama wasn't a citizen so there was no Constitutional issue to decide.
Whether there was or wasn't "sufficient reason" to believe either way has no effect on the Constitutional issue at hand. Article II states that a President must be a natural born citizen, be at least 35 years of age, and have been a US resident for at least 14 years. Many people (whether "reasonable" or not) had doubts about his being 'natural born'.

This was a completely made up issue by people who didn't like a black man running, the middle name "Hussein", his African father or a combination of all. There was nothing in Obama's background to cast doubt on his citizenship. It was a fiction from beginning to end.
So all "birthers" were racist and bigoted? C'mon, man..... Put your own bigotry and racism aside first...

You can quote the Constitution until hell freezes over but what ignorant people think has no bearing on the matter. The facts including birth certificate, newspaper announcement of birth, parentage and other records proved beyond a doubt that Obama is a citizen. There was ZERO reason to believe all these records were falsified. Birthers created a cottage industry of lies, errors, fallacies and supposition to support the false narrative that Obama wasn't eligible.

Some stupid people on this forum still think Obama was born in Kenya and they point to his middle name and his father as supposed proof. Anybody that far gone is beyond help.

The 6 years are within the statute of limitations for the possible financial crimes Trump may have committed. Trump must have forgotten that he said he would release his taxes. The Dems are just giving him a gentle reminder. Every other candidate for the last 50 years gave up theirs. Nixon did while they were under audit. Trump must have forgotten all that. So we should jar his memory a bit. I am sure he will appreciate the help.

:lolup:Idiot loves being a moron.

You don't understand the difference between bigotry and insult. Google it.

Inversion Fallacy. YOU don't know the difference. I've already told you what bigotry is... To be more specific, bigotry is a form of the compositional error fallacy which involves people as the class. An example of this would be "All Christians are uneducated" or "All Southerners are backwoods hicks". If one were to also include a genetic trait as the property, then it would also be racism. An example of this would be "All Conservatives are old white men".

An insult, on the other hand, is a verbal attack directed towards someone's attributes. "You're a dumb ****" and "you're a fat slobbering buffoon" are both examples of what an insult is.

Also, "Google it" is NOT an argument, thus it was summarily dismissed on sight.

Now you're confusing definition with fallacy. They are not the same. Calling someone a "right wing nut job" is not the same as saying "all right wingers are nut jobs."

Saying that "only RWNJs claimed that Obama wasn't born in the US" isn't the same as saying "all RWs are nut jobs who claimed that Obama wasn't born in the US."

noun, plural big·ot·ries.

stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own.
the actions, beliefs, prejudices, etc., of a bigot.

It was a made up issue,
Doesn't matter whether it was "made up" or not... you're missing the point. The point is that being a natural born citizen is a constitutional REQUIREMENT for Presidency. IF there is ANY question regarding it, it ought to be examined closely. The request to see a birth certificate is a VERY reasonable request, given that being natural born is a constitutional requirement for Presidency. There is no constitutional requirement regarding tax documents, so there is no reason that anybody needs to see any President's tax returns.

not a real one.
It was very real. People questioned it.

The facts showed the truth;
Not what a "fact" is... Learn what a "fact is"... Facts are not universal truths, nor are they proofs.

Facts are shorthand predicate. They are meant to speed up conversation (not having to form an argument about every little thing). That's all facts are...

RWNJs ignored the facts in favor of supporting a fallacy.
More bigotry dismissed on sight. I am not interested in your bigotry, christiefan915...

Continued ignorance regarding what "facts" and "fallacies" are... A fallacy is an error of logic. That's what a fallacy is. Asking for proof of natural citizenship is NOT a fallacy, dude...

You can quote the Constitution until hell freezes over
Yes, I can, and I will keep doing so. The USA is a Federated Republic. The Constitution is the ruling document of our country. OF COURSE I am going to quote it...

but what ignorant people think has no bearing on the matter.
Your thoughts have no bearing on the matter??!! I agree with you there... You still haven't provided a good reason for why it is necessary for Trump to show the public his tax returns...

Okay. But you're still missing the point... Being a natural born citizen IS. A. CONSTITUTIONAL. REQUIREMENT. FOR. PRESIDENCY.

If there is any doubt about that, then it needs to be investigated. Of course some people will reject the evidence presented and form their own beliefs regarding the matter, but a birth certificate was (eventually) released.

Now you're confusing definition with fallacy. They are not the same. Calling someone a "right wing nut job" is not the same as saying "all right wingers are nut jobs."
You didn't just call someone a nut job... You referred to all right wingers as nutjobs...

Saying that "only RWNJs claimed that Obama wasn't born in the US" isn't the same as saying "all RWs are nut jobs who claimed that Obama wasn't born in the US."
You're not speaking of particular people; you're making a sweeping statement inferring that all right wingers are nut jobs... That's bigotry, dude... It's also psychoquackery... Otherwise, you would've just said "nut jobs". Even then, it's still bigotry (and psychoquackery) since you'd then be inferring that everyone who believes that Obama wasn't natural born is a nut job. Either way, it's bigotry (and psychoquackery) on your part, and is summarily dismissed.

False Authority Fallacy. Dictionaries do not define words. They are not authoritative over any word definition, nor do they own any word. People define words, NOT dictionaries.

Bigotry has nothing to do with "intolerance"... Bigotry is, straight up, a logical fallacy. It is a specific form of the Compositional Error Fallacy.

Why is Trump hiding his tax returns from the House Ways and Means Committee, authorized to obtain them pursuant to 26 U.S. Code § 6103?

You didn't just call someone a nut job... You referred to all right wingers as nutjobs...

You're wrong. Maybe you don't understand the meaning of this sentence: "only RWNJs claimed that Obama wasn't born in the US..." "Only" means that those RWs who claim Obama wasn't born in the US are nut jobs. Unless you're trying to say that all RWs believe Obama wasn't born here? Maybe I'm misunderstanding you.

Cite some liberals who claimed Obama isn't a US citizen and I'll amend my statement to reflect that.

False Authority Fallacy. Dictionaries do not define words. They are not authoritative over any word definition, nor do they own any word. People define words, NOT dictionaries.

Dictionaries record definitions of words in common usage. Those words may or may not change over time, but that's neither here nor there. It's just a deflection on your part to defend your statement that a definition and a fallacy are one and the same.

Bigotry has nothing to do with "intolerance"... Bigotry is, straight up, a logical fallacy. It is a specific form of the Compositional Error Fallacy.

I suggest you write to Mr. Merriam and Mr. Webster and ask them to change their definition of bigotry to yours. :rofl2:

Hello Jarod,

Pursuant to law Congress asks the IRS director for 6 years of Trumps tax returns.

Trump responds that he is not inclined to honor the request.

AOC burns him good, "We did not ask you!"

Right on, AOC!

She would be a better President than Trump.
