Pull up your big girl panties liberals. Here is your chance to debate

No...it's always the SAME excuse whenever I attempt to discuss anything with you.

It always comes down to your inability to have a discussion free of taunts and derision.

But I do enjoy once again highlighting another thread of yours filled with the same tired insults.

Is he a 15 year old boy? Not very mature.

No response from the chairman?

Well... Clearly the BEST interests of the GOP would be for them to win every election. Of course, no democrat wants that level of success for the GOP. That does not automatically equate to us wanting to see the GOP self destruct, for that would not be in our best interests. The adage about the "devil you know" is germane here. The GOP is a fractured conglomeration of southern white racists, midwestern pro-life bible thumpers, tea baggers, high rolling corporatists, gun lovers, and queer haters. That's fine with me. They can cobble together some regional victories, but their days of winning nationally with THAT coalition are past. I want that GOP to survive, because I can only imagine what sort of unholy alliance would rise up and pick up the conservative banner in America were the GOP to go the way of the Whigs. I like the GOP Just the way it is.... Regionally viable in a decreasing number of regions, and nationally impotent. I would always urge them to take steps to avoid self destruction, and I am confident, that given the make up of their current coalition, they are incapable of any sort of sea-change in philosophy that would create any real danger of their cutting into the democrat's current winning rainbow coalition. Demographics and time are on OUR side. Just don't go dyin' on us!

The only way Republicans ever agree to do anything is if it is in the own personal self-interest. Take any generic issue, Issue X, and if it doesn't mateially benefit Republicans in any way -- even if it doesn't hurt them -- they won't do it because it's an opportunity for them to get something that does materially benefit them. Democrats don't work that way and will do things that don't benefit them personally because doing it is the right thing to do. Sometimes they'll even do things that do not personally benefit them and actually harm them becuase it's the right thing to do. Republicans don't believe in doing the right thing for its own sake.

So on immigration, the only way you'll get Republicans to vote in favor of it is to convincing them that it is in their individual self-interest. And Democrats, being the kind of people to put their own individiual self-interest aside in the pursuit of the right thing, are more than willing to convince Republicans to do the right thing by appealing to their selfish nature even if it ends up harming Democrats.
I think Mort Sahl summarized the differences between Democrats and Republicans more concisely.

Democrats are people who are ashamed of what they have earned where as Republicans are people who are proud of everything they have stolen.

I'm very proud of what I've earned.

Like this... ILA does not have the cojones to carry on a real debate.

Run back to your circle jerk... Fuckin' faggot.

Aren't you just a whiney little bitch? Relax puddin pop. I ain't avoiding you. I didn't ask for a dissertation on the GOP, although that was very sweet of you. I like how you threw in all of your bigotry and prejudices. I guess in the interest of the Fairness Doctrine, I should return the favor of the fractured conglomeration of democrat constituencies. You got the rich and the blacks and the unions and the queers (like you) and now the newest player the illegal immigrants or as we like to call them Hispanics.

My point was pretty clear and you made it for me. The democrat party has ZERO interest in seeing the GOP win seats. You admitted it, but apparently once you realized that you were actually agreeing iwith me some switch kicked in inside the deepest darkest parts of your cerebral cortex and you had to type the rest of this drivel

BTW, Grind doesn't like it when you use the word faggot. He thinks it is homophobic. Just sayin :)

The democratic party does not want the republican party to fritter themselves away to nothing. We are perfectly happy to let them have success in limited ways in limited areas. It is perfectly reasonable for us to offer them positive advice that would allow them to achieve that limited degree of success.

As we head toward amnesty for all of the illegal immigrants who have flouted our laws since our last amnesty push under Reagan, all we hear from the democrat party is that "the GOP can't win any elections unless the GOP caves on amnesty".

So the question I have is why does the democrat party want the GOP to win any elections? Isn't the purpose of politics to make sure that the other side loses? Why would the democrat party do anything to see that the GOP wins any elections? Now some will say that they want a robust "opposition party", but I call BS on that because they get all in a kerfuffle when the GOP opposes anything.

So here is your chance libbies. I am only thread banning one particular douche tip. The rest of you have a chance to show me your mettle and provide some of that famed democrat insight you claim you have.

Ready? GO!

Bush had Congress for the majority of his term. What did he do?

Funny you and your demalquedacrat friends got all butt hurt when I implied that menendez was speaking for demalquedacrat party. Now here you are being their Jay Carney of JPP. Cute

I point out that, while democrats certainly do not have the GOP's BEST interest at heart, they DO have a vested interest in ensuring that the GOP doesn't drive itself off a cliff. Minimal advice aimed at preventing such a catastrophe is not altruistic, but, indeed, self serving.

Well, the GOP is driving itself off a cliff if they support amnesty. They won't get one single spic vote by doing so. McShamnesty has already said so. You demalquedacrats already know it. The statistics and history bears this out.

Not only will they not increase the spic vote, but they will lose even more of their base.

So how is it voting for amnesty is supposed to save them from disaster? I mean McShamnesty was all about the amnesty in 2008 and it didn't help him much with the spic vote. So maybe you can point me in the direction of all of the spics just standing in line waiting to vote GOP instead of democrat if only the GOP would vote for amnesty.

You are a fool and your lame attempts are falling short

I am not suggesting that the GOP voting for amnesty will immediately give them a majority of the hispanic vote... but it WILL make them appear like a party of reasonable men and women willing to participate in governance. Something it lacks now.

Where is the proof of your assertion? That is the same lame bullshit you lefties always try to convince the GOP of. You will only trot out some other meme that will make them appear unreasonable. Don't get me wrong, I applaud the tactic because it is obviously effective with the limp noodled RINOS that populate DC.

But, spare me your altruistic motives. Sell it to Desh she is a dumb ass that might believe it

I said it was not altruistic, but self serving. I have said I am quite pleased with a GOP that succeeds at the regional level and incorrectly thinks that they can succeed at the national level. Any advice I can give anyone that will help further that quest, I am eager to give.

Well, in that case then you should be suggesting they oppose immigration reform. Nothing like being a hypocritical prick is there pussyboy?

Bear in mind, weirdoes, that only a constant infusion of new genes has stopped you all ending in the padded cell where the teabags ought to be. Have you really still got Liberals over there amongst the witch-hunters?

Their support of immigration reform will do little to help the GOP regain its national stature. But their opposition to it would be worse for the GOP, and worse for the democrats in the long run. But that's just my opinion... You go and play that issue any way you want. It's your party, not mine.

I don't have a political party anymore. They are my ex party. I am a party of one
