Psycho-pathology of Trump Supporters

I live in coal country in WV and it has ramped up but not to what it was because Obamas policies shut down allot of the coal fired generation plants across the country, another thing im familiar with because i work in the electric utility industry, allot of those coal fired plants had scrubbers added to them from previous regulations that cost mega money all to make them clean burning but it doesnt matter now because they are gone.

Hello noise,

Sounds like desperation posting to me.

And I'm sure if you really believed in Trump it must be devastating to begin to realize he really is nothing but a slick talking con man, an uncommon crook.

I keep seeing the video of Nixon saying with such a straight and serious face: "I am NOT a CROOK!"
you are also unable to refute stay on topic. I applaude civil postings. But i prefer someone who can carry on a discourse

Hello Darth,

I don't know why Comey thought publicly leaking the memo would trigger an investigation.

Maybe he was concerned about having it all quashed.

Maybe he thought that if it were leaked, then it could not be quashed, and there might be no investigation where he, knowing what he knew, felt there needed to be. Maybe Comey is a hero who was looking out for justice and what is right for America.

My uncles were miners my grandfather was a miner so im familiar with it, blankenship went to prison, not nowhere near as long as he should have. One of my friends list his son and his brother in that accident so yeah im familiar with the coal industry.

a dangerous
dirty

ancient fuel

that we can easily replace now

why not remake your state in a sustainable industry of ANY kind instead of beating a dead dirty horse and trying to force your children to beat it too

any industry

it doesn't have to be energy related

do you now how many states depend on one industry?

none of the smart ones

Or maybe Comey is a weasel.

There was no quashing the investigation. Strzok was over the Russian investigation at the time Comey was fired by Trump and the investigation would have continued without him.

What was the pressing need for an SP again? I seem to have forgotten.

Hello HillbillyStyle,

I live in coal country in WV and it has ramped up but not to what it was because Obamas policies shut down allot of the coal fired generation plants across the country, another thing im familiar with because i work in the electric utility industry, allot of those coal fired plants had scrubbers added to them from previous regulations that cost mega money all to make them clean burning but it doesnt matter now because they are gone.

Part of the problem for coal miners is the process has been automated. It used to take a lot more man-hours to extract coal. That's never coming back. And then the double hit of having fracking produce all that energy for drastically fewer man-hours of labor, well, coal is toast. It must be very difficult for people living in coal country. There's no future of new jobs there. New generations are going to have to find other work.

I'm sure it's a beautiful place, or it was before Blankenship blew up all the mountain tops and destroyed the streams. There is more opportunity elsewhere, but what a choice to have to make to move away from the place you have called home. Some families there for generations. Having to give that up and set out for better opportunity somewhere else would be a tough choice to make, but people do it all the time. Bluegrass music really came from Irish folk music. A lot of people left their homes in Ireland for better opportunity, and ended up in WV long ago.

I have family in three States I rarely see. Some people don't get a home town or a place their are rooted to like that in the first place. They cope. WV would be a pretty place to 'come back to' on vacation or holidays and see friends and family. Especially if you're loaded because you found decent opportunity in a thriving place.

Houston has a lot of work... They could use a few more regulations to control the sprawl, though. A good place to get flooded. But then, ya roll your dice, eh? California is too costly and too crowded. And Earthquakes. Florida has hurricanes. Midwest has tornadoes. Get frozen stiff up north, roasted in the desert. You can have New York City. I wouldn't live there. Nice to have the freedom to settle anywhere you like, eh?

Being an American is pretty cool. We've got a lot. It's worth paying taxes to be a part of it.

I wouldn't matter if you remembered. That train has already left the station.

Some people are oblivious about the prospect of the train getting derailed.

Would facts help?

Don't look now but most Americans don't even believe Komrade Tangerine is fit for office.

A super-majority thinks he a perpetual liar.

Sure, your side is in really good shape. :0)

And you are just oblivious to what a train wreck Trump is.

Which brings up the third and fifth psycho-pathology of Trump supporters. Social Dominance Order and Relative Deprivation as most Trump supporters are low status males who feel deprived of their position in a rigid social hierarchy they feel is their birth right and harbor resentments to those outside their perceived social order as relatively depriving them of that birth right.

Your absence is conspicuous from threads on this topic lol.

Suppose it’s true that the DOJ criminally conspired to get a Special Prosecutor appointed against Trump. No biggie? Nothing Burger?

What are your thoughts?

You could say anything w/ the bolded. "Suppose it's true that there is a giant alien living in the middle of the planet that will decide to devour all of us someday." "Suppose it's true that this is all just a dream, and nothing is real." "Suppose it's true that the moon is made of cornflakes."

You have zilch on "conspiracy." Sorry 'bout that.

So it’s a nothing burger to you. Even if it’s a crime, you don’t care.

That’s cool.
