Finally, someone with some decency, everyone has always had healthcare, thats what medicare and medicade has been doing for decades, i was out of work back in 2013 and had gallstones and had to have my gall bladder removed and medicade took care of it, didnt cost me anything.

I agree health care costs are high but the people were lied to about the ACA, they said it was gonna be free and ended up being just another forced tax on the working class,
It actually is free for really needy people. And the reason so many others saw their bills go up is because it was written by the gluttonous insurance industry. They were the ones calling the shots. It's wealth extraction. Crony capitalism. Since Republicans would not stand up against them, stand with the people, stand with the Democrats, big insurance and big pharma totally got their way with that law. Good news is we can still fix that. Bad news is it would take both sides working together. The only way we the people can bring our health care costs down is to unite against the rich and powerful who are pushing us around and sticking their hands in our pockets.

I am continually trying to get more positive dialog going between liberals and conservatives, but too many can't get past their hatred to even recognize the other side as humans. Sounds like you and I have a few things in common. I am also independent, a member of neither party. We are both highly suspect of the rich and powerful and crony capitalism.

I see that differently. I think a lot of the people who voted for Trump actually ended up voting against their own better interest. Trump has not really been helping working people much. Instead he has been fantastic for the rich. He bragged about it at Mar-A Lago: (where you need to be a millionaire to be a member,) "You all just got a lot richer." His words to his rich buddies.
Nothings ever going yo get better untill we get these corrupt career politicians out of office from both partys and prosecute them for the crimes they have committed.

I don't see anything challenging that in our system of mixed socialism and capitalism.

You don't pay federal taxes on your house. And I don't see how somebody can expect to have a property without paying property tax. Everybody has to pay property tax. That pays for the State and local community governments. Pays for police, fire, roads, infrastructure, public education, parks, etc.
Those are just some of the things people need to be thinking about and stop letting thier minds be played with by the media, talk show hosts, actors, politicians, ect.... all of whom get thier money fron the same rich people thats behind all this crap in the first place.
There is something to that, but it should be noted that some talk show hosts create their own controversies where none existed, just to sell advertising.
Yes i wasnt the perfect english class student as im sure theres multiple things wrong in this book i just wrote but thats fine. I just wish people would stop listening to all the lies About President Trump. He truly is trying to look out for the people of this country.
I'm willing to overlook the writing style as long as we can have an honest civil discussion. Why do you think all the negative stuff about President Trump is lies? It sounds pretty legit to me and most of the country as well.
I don't think he's doing a very good job of looking out for the people of this country. He may really think he is, but he is as good at fooling himself as he is at fooling others. I think he really struggles with the truth. He seems to have a pretty short attention span. He's a slick talking con man. That's his gift. He's really good at it. He knows how to tell people things that will gain their confidence.
You obviously have lots of confidence in him. I think it is misplaced.
What he did to coal minors was cruel. He said coal was coming back. That's just nuts. He lied about why coal went away. It wasn't Obama's fault. It was technology. Fracking killed coal. Coal is not coming back. Trump used the coal minors. Just like they have always been used. All that energy under the ground where they live, all the work those mining families put into it. Blood, sweat and tears. Black lung. The sacrifices they made. None of them got rich. The slick talking con men like Trump got rich, but they never went down in the mines. Trump's buddy Blankenship got rich. He also killed miners because he didn't want to pay for safety items. Too expensive, yet he's millionaire. He lives in a mansion on a hill and he thought the Obama years were 'pure hell.' He doesn't know what hell is. He's got all the money the miners earned. They are still poor.
All he did was give people like Blankenship a free gift. No more pollution regulations. Dump all the pollution they want into pristine once-clear mountain streams that feed our rivers. Really dumb.
That's not looking out for the people. People need clean rivers and clean water.
