Laissez-faire economics is definitely involuntary. Just leads to a boom and bust cycle and eventual economic stagnation as the decadence and wealth inequality inevitably approaches a singularity.

You can call the "Democratic Party" "The Democrats", if referring to it as "Democratic" is so utterly noxious to you (though these are the same people who often claim to be against democracy, so I don't know what their real problem is). However, "The Democrat Party" is clearly wrong.
