Nothing wrong for happily expecting parents to personify their baby. That is natural, that is what enables a woman to take care of herself, eat properly, the man to protect the woman, etc to ensure the next generation.

It should also make it clear why forcing a woman to carry something she doesnt want is a bad idea...for the fetus. That probably has to be spelled out for you to, huh?

I've never said I like it. Unlike you, I can keep my emotions out of it.

I think it would be a terrible decision to make, but for some a necessity. I respect women enough to let them decide for themselves, instead of judging.

does a doctor tell you your baby is not alive before birth?.....do they tell you its not human?.......

what's the significant event that turns the fetus into a living human?......is it when her head leaves the cervix.....the cutting of the umbilical cord?.....or does it not happen until the doctor slaps her butt and she cries?......

It's up to the mother because unless that fetus has equal rights to hers (as we've proven it does not)...no one can infringe on HER rights to tell her what to do or what risks to take.

Once out of her body, if she allows it or is convicted of some law, her right can be legally infringed on and the BABY taken from her custody.

For the 80 yr old...if they didnt legally specify their wishes, and they are unable to speak on their own behalf, it goes to their next of kin.

No, science outlines things pretty well. It's about when it becomes a person with rights that we're discussing. The mother's personification is just 'normal' and healthy and helps ensure a healthy baby.

A stranger focused on that developing tissue as their business and personifies it is someone who needs a life.
