I was even restricted under my husband’s employee insurance to what Dr. I could use. They had to be in network or I had to pay extra to keep them. This has always been a problem with insurance. I had an emergency in KS and went to the emergency room at the hospital, the only one in town, my policy wouldn’t cover the cost. I had to pay the full $3,000. Insurance sucks.

BTW, where is that better, and cheaper, healthcare system that the Repugnant ones, and Trump, promised the American people? Why do we still hase the most expensive, and lowest quality, of the developed world? Do the Repugnant ones have a plan yet except for making the insurance companies richer?

I am always amused when fools think their anecdotal evidence supplants the nation as a whole. Here's one for you; not only did my family lose it's health plan, which was better, but also our doctor. On top of all that, our costs went up. So there is that. Dunce.

Not true at all. While the did lose the House by a small majority, they increased their margin in the house by four seats. Did you proclaim Obama took it in the shorts when he lost far more than Trump could ever hope to lose?

Let's say, for example, that for years leading up to Obamacare becoming law, per capita health expenditures in the US were rising by 5.5% per year -- a pace well above the average for wealthy nations generally, causing us to pull away from the pack in our healthcare spending. And say that since Obamacare became law, per capita health expenditures here have been rising at 3.25% -- a pace below the average for wealthy nations generally, causing the gap between the US and its international peers to narrow. Wouldn't that be a success, at least on the cost front?
