Why were cops hunkering down when someone was shooting 4th graders and calling the Border Patrol to bring in a swat team for one, why do we pay cops if they have to call the "real" cops when there is danger? Don't we pay these people to put themselves in the line of fire? Who thought this was a good idea? What kind of person gave the order? Would I have followed that order if I was one of the cops? One trained teacher, armed, could have prevented all of the deaths.

Are they going to carry the weapon at all times? I’ve seen military forces ambushed and killed, I’ve seen policemen ambushed and killed. Will the weapons be locked up? Could a teacher get to the weapon in time? What if a child gets hold of the weapon? What if the teacher shoots an innocent person, like a parent coming for their child? Why should a teacher do the job of law enforcement?
