Perry: You don't have a heart

Thats not true, on both counts. People who dont know what they are talking about should not spout off. I was on a law journal and you do have to do SOMETHING to get on it. In my case you had to be in the top 20% of your class for Law Journal and top 10% for Law Review.

Yet you spout off on topics you clearly don't understand on a daily basis. Hmmm....

Add to that you don't get sarcasm without express warnings that sarcasm is being used....

As for the criteria.... there used to be criteria for winning the Nobel Peace Prize too.... yet that is no longer the case. So without knowing Obama's grades or how he became editor, then it really isn't that much of an accomplishment as Obama has clearly received positions/awards that he has not earned. Yet another reason he should just release his info. Why is it do you suppose that he refuses?

Until the 1970's the editors were picked on the basis of grades, and the president of the Law Review was the student with the highest academic rank. Among these were Elliot L. Richardson, the former Attorney General, and Irwin Griswold, a dean of the Harvard Law School and Solicitor General under Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon.

That system came under attack in the 1970's and was replaced by a program in which about half the editors are chosen for their grades and the other half are chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition. The new system, disputed when it began, was meant to help insure that minority students became editors of The Law Review.

Thanks....

poor copycat troll couldn't think of an original title for the thread his has created over half a dozen times or at least you keep posting this same video over and over.

carry on troll.

and you know this how? cite.

You seriously think Harvard Law School would look twice at an application from a black student from Texas A & M that had a 2.0 GPA? Get your fucking head examined. AA doesn't turn a student with no chance in hell into a sure thing.

ok, so it is your opinion and you have nothing to substantiate this.

AA is all about taking those with grades who would not otherwise be accepted. we don't know what obama's grades are, so your supposition is just that. i will concede my is too, but i don't trot it out as fact.

Poor Yurt, doesn't see a difference between a video of Perry callously claiming to have no qualms about signing death warrants and being applauded for it, and this:

Perry: "I Don't Think You Have a Heart" If You Oppose In-State Tuition for Children of Illegal Immigrants During Thursday night's Republican presidential debate, Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum all took shots at Rick Perry's record on illegal immigration. Bachmann said that Texas's law allowing in-state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants acted like a "magnet" for illegal immigrants. Perry's response was forceful and personal. "I don't think you have a heart," Perry told his critics.
"If you say that we should not educate children who come into our state for no other reason than that they've been brought their through no fault of their own, I don't think you have a heart," Perry said. "We need to be educating these children because they will become a drag on our society. I think that's what Texans wanted to do. Out of 181 members of the Texas legislature when this issue came up [there were] only four dissenting votes. This was a state issue. Texas voted on it. And I still support it today."

Nor does he see the difference in punctuation, which I think he's very scrupulous about.

good lord you are really fucking stupid.

couldn't think of an original title

The significance of the punctuation difference seems to have escaped lil' attention whore Yurt.

If you don't want to discuss Perry's callous disregard of the possibility that he's signed the death warrants of innocent people, why are you in this thread?

why do you keep reposting this same topic ad nauseum? when you do so it is called spam and you deserved to be ridiculed for it. you've posted this video over two dozen times on this board, made numerous threads about it.

stop being such a sissy attention whore. if you want more attention, create your own blog instead of spamming the board with the same posts over and over. and your punctuation issue really makes no sense. i'm glad you finally learned the difference between "title" and "thread" because it is clear you stupidly thought i said thread.

Really, "over two dozen times"? Link up.

BTW, how come it wasn't 'spam' when you posted a copycat thread about Obama waving at a photo op?
