i live in such a blue state (ca) that the state legislature has a dim 2/3 majority in both the assembly and senate. the repugs have shot themselves in the foot so badly that their party is in disarray in the vast majority of districts and may lose even more after this stunt.
 
I live in Mississippi and all the repukes have to offer is a chicken in every pot. It's never happened before, I don't anticipate it happening in the future but it's one helluva good promise for the more hungry, gullible and ignorant amongst us.

in this situation its more like a public building than a home.....and they are breaking in because the other side locked the door and said there's no room here for anyone but us.......as I recall, that's how we ended up with Obamacare in the first place.......a "reconcilliation" committee that included no Republicans........

And you know what - companies that cut their workers' hours so that they don't have to give them health care should be posted on a big wall of shame. Because that means the employees go to the exchanges where, with the cut in pay, they will probably be subsidized thus costing all of us money through our taxes. Shame on those companies.

I do think they'll find good workers won't put up with it and over time they'll bring the good ones back full time and pay for health care.

But in the meantime - shame on them.
