Pelosi says House Democrats will begin process to obtain Trump tax returns

We only be able to tell who he is beholding to or in bed with if we have his TAX RETURNS. Don't hand them over? SUBPOENA him! Go up and all the way to the Supreme Court. Of course MUELLER already has them! Timing will very likely make that unnecessary.

No president is required to release their tax returns. It's only been a tradition since Carter (I think).

Pelosi says it'll happen when the new Congress convenes in January.

The way things are going, I'm not convinced Trump will even make it to January.

Whenever it gets reported on the news, it's usually just to spark self righteous fights over how much these people did or didn't give to charity.

The house has the power to demand his taxes. They could just get them from Mueller.

Hillary showed about 30 years of taxes . Everybody else showed theirs. Trump demanded that Romey show his and Trump promised to show his several times. How anyone can pretend it is not important and does not show he has something to hide is amazing.

There's no legal requirement for government workers to show the public their past tax returns.
Any returns prior to this are his business, not theirs.

Pelosi can not only get his returns through House Ways and Means .. she can also make them public by submitting them to the full House .. which automatically makes them public record.

It's what republicans would do to a democrat in the White House who didn't submit their tax returns.
