You don't understand much about alcohol metabolism do you? I have had medical school classes on the subject. Basically if Pelosi was .082 g/100ml after 2 hrs and 15 minutes after the wreck it means he was at least .11g/100ml at the time of the wreck because humans metabolize ethanol .015 gms/100 ml an hour. And that would explain Pelosi's unsteadiness in the dashcam video. So yes I have a very good idea what Pelosi's BAC at the time of the wreck. The officer even expressed concern that Pelosi might fall. And Pelosi repeatedly tried to steady himself on the cruiser.

2.25 hours x .015 g/100ml+ .082g/100ml = .11575 g/100ml at the time of the wreck. Now find any human physiology text that disagrees significantly from that. Keep in mind that pelosi also benefited from any response time from the wreck and the CHP arrival on scene.

We would need to know his weight to guess but people are different, we could never know for sure. Hopefully he was charged based upon his likely BAC at the time of the crime, but this is not clear. In anycase the claim of the OP is obvious BullSHit and should not be tolorated.

I have forgotten more about alcohol metabolism than you’ll ever know.

You don’t know:

1) When he had his last drink.
2) What that last drink was and how much alcohol was in it.
3) Whether he drank on a full stomach or empty stomach
4) Any medications he was on
5) His BMI

Based on 1-5, you don’t know when his peak BAC was. People can reach their peak BAC anywhere from 15 min to 1.5 hours (even longer) AFTER their last drink. Nor do you even know WHAT his peak BAC was.

You also don’t know his particular elimination rate after his peak BAC. It’s mostly a matter of liver function, which you also don’t know.

All of those “you don’t knows” add up to “you don’t have a fucking clue” as to his BAC at the time of the accident. Given the error in any BAC test, either blood or breath, that you would actually “estimate” his BAC to 5 decimal places, indicates you’re fucking clueless on the subject at all. Even to the third decimal place is questionable.

That still makes his BAC level at time of the wreck about .11 g/100ml. We know his was drunk because of the dashcam shows him stagger.. Since you are such an expert in ethanol metabolism can you explain the relationship between cytochrome P450 and 23 DPG.

The CHP 1199 foundation revoked Paul Pelosi donation card today. He tried to present the card at the wreck for special consideration. It didn't work :laugh:

Bullshit. Alcohol is mostly absorbed in the small intestine. Anything that delays or speeds up gastric emptying changes the rate and how much is absorbed. 10 minutes is garbage.

Lots of things can cause stagger, including other medications. But, do you really thing the difference between a 0.08 and a 0.11 BAC is going to cause that stagger?

Since you are such an expert, do you know the difference between Widmark and Borkenstein?
