I agree that the energy answer is technology.

I agree that the problem in the ME is Israel .. and probably always will be.

I can't tell Jewish Americans what they should or should not do about Israel .. many of whom don't agree with the policies of the Zionist state any more than I do.

I don't believe American troops should be committed under any circumstances.

My two best friends in my all White high school(Golf Team) were both Jewish, and they were fighters. Many Jews that I know now want Israel to solve the Palestinian Issue by giving back the land. We need to support a Palestinian State just like we support the Israeli State.
By the way, my best friend in the Army was a Black guy from Oakland Cal. I did basic in Fort Polk, Louisiana and when towards the end of basic, we got passes, I said to him let's go to Leadsville on our passes, and he said, "we are in the deep South, I can't go with you, you are White". That really was my first introduction to racism. I said to him then I am not going on pass either, so I never went.....All True
 
This ways been Palin's game. She takes shots at current situations without offering any plan of her own, I guess it makes her look smart to those who love her.

This coming from a woman who had never crossed the Atlantic ocean until after having gotten on a national presidential ticket.

Is she offering aid and comfort to the enemy?

Syria is not the same as Rwanda. Rwanda was one heavily armed group wiping out a relatively unarmed minority in an ethnic cleansing. We should (imo) put a stop to that. Syria has become a defacto Sunni vs. Shia war. Both groups are going to be heavily armed by their respective 'backers'. This has been coming for a while. If we come into this conflict it will be either on the side of Hezbollah or Al Queda... that right there should tell us to stay the hell out of it.

Could you explain why you personally think that the US should not have killed those thousands of Al Qaeda militants in Iraq?
