No idea what to say about this one. Except that she's directly opposite McCain.

WASHINGTON — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin criticized the Obama administration’s decision to supply weapons to the rebels in the civil war in Syria today, arguing that the U.S. should “Let Allah sort it out”....

and

Palin, speaking at the conclusion of the three-day Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference, also took a swipe at another speaker at the conservative forum, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who argued Friday that one of the reasons to support the Senate’s immigration reform plan is because “Immigrants are more fertile.”
“I think it’s kind of dangerous territory, territory to want to debate this whole one race’s fertility rate over another, and I say this from someone who’s kind of fertile herself,” Palin said.

I mean, I actually kind of agree with her ... I'm not sure we should be sending arms (although better arms than troops) and yeah, encouraging immigrants because of fertility is really kind of gross.

I don't normally agree with her... but this time... well..

Damn.

Palin has a good point. It is a big mistake to intervene in these situations when an incompetent person is occupying the white house.

Re-establish Turkish control over the region by reviving, in a modern sense, the Ottoman Empire. Problem contained.

Bush has been gone for five years now.

Re-establish Turkish control over the region by reviving, in a modern sense, the Ottoman Empire. Problem contained.

Good idea. Who should do the controlling, the Turkish government or the Turkish rebels protesting in the streets?

I don't think there IS a good answer to the question of what we should in Syria.

Sure there is.

It's a civil war .. and if one is looking for a good answer just ask yourself if other countries should have intervened in our own civil war .. which killed between 650 - 800,000 people.

Should foreign nations intervene in a civil war .. OR, should nations be allowed to determine their own course and future?

I'd say the good answer is glaringly obvious.

Ended Iraq war; ending Afghanistan; didn't get us too involved in Libya; so far has kept us out of Syria.

OBAMA DID NOT END THE IRAQ WAR .. the Status of Forces Agreement did .. and the signature on that agreement is George W. Bush.

Obama tried to EXTEND the withdrawal date BEYOND the agreement to KEEP US forces in Iraq.

Maliki said no .. get the Hell out.

The war in NOT ending in Afghanistan .. even though it should have long ago.

With regards to Libya, Obama and NATO destroyed a once prosperous nation AGAINST the will of the Libyan people .. and they did it for the oil and profit.
