Osama Bin Laden DEAD!

why am i not surprised onceler is making it out that bush stopped looking or didn't care...amazing how the hacks come out in threads like this

I said that Bush said OBL was irrelevant. He did. If you have a problem with the facts, just say so...

Detective Work
U.S. officials were led to the compound after interrogations of Guantanamo Bay detainees in 2007 yielded the nicknames of two highly trusted couriers used by both bin Laden and 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed. Senior White House officials said Monday, "One courier in particular had our constant attention. Detainees gave us his nom de guerre, his pseudonym, and also identified this man as one of the few couriers trusted by bin Laden."

The courier's home was a plot of land roughly eight times larger than others in the area, built on the outskirts of town in 2005. Based on CIA satellite photos and intelligence reports, the U.S. learned that residents burned their trash and had no telephone or Internet service.

Gee, who authorized enhanced interrogation of the terrorists at Gitmo?

no, you're saying he stopped looking or didn't care, in contrast to obama saying it was a high priority....the intel came during bush's term...but you're such a pathetic hack that you want to make seem as if bush didn't care. downplaying osama's importance was nothing but a psy op to belittle osama...but hacks like you will of course make it political

it is quite pathetic

Ah - the old Yurt thing of putting words in the mouths of others, or knowing what they were "thinking".

I didn't say either that A) he stopped looking or that B) he didn't care. I stated only the facts - Bush said he was irrelevant, and Obama said he was a top priority.

Deal with it. Stop making up what other people say to fit your narrative...

What he has a problem with is your missed context of what Bush said, when he uttered that line. In terms of the War on Terror, OBL was fairly irrelevant, more of a "figurehead" than an actual commanding leader of alQaeda. His significance was diminished when we ran him into hiding, and he personally posed no imminent threat to us after that. His actual commanders on the ground in Afghanistan and Iraq, were FAR MORE SIGNIFICANT in terms of our concerns for security and the War on Terror. That has not changed. Killing OBL doesn't END the WoT... some would argue, in many ways, it might actually serve to ESCALATE it. That all remains to be seen, but simple-minded one cells like you, never have understood the scope of the War on Terror, and you'll probably misconstrue the death of OBL to signal some kind of end to it or resolve met. We'll see about that in the coming months.

Dixtard (king of Bubba's) posted on the second post in this thread it's not a happy day. You politicized it you fucking redneck.

right....and you just said it for no reason...you contrasted bush with obama saying it was a top priority for no reason...you want people to consider bush saying osama is irrelevant as compared to obama making him a top priority for no reason...just stating "facts"

it is amazing that you think people believe your bullshit

He is irrelevant because of our policies to isolate him and keep on the move for the last 2.5 years.

Even moderators on Huffington agree .....:)

The only telling evidence that this guy is an asshole hack like Onecell, is his "2.5 years" line.....
In FACT and TRUTH, Osama has been on the run since 1993 when Clinton put him on his shit list.....

Nice way of admitting that you couldn't find either statement that you said I made - thanks. You really are dishonest to the core.

As I've stated a few times, my inclination on this was not to be political; I knew the argument would get political, but I didn't think it would 2 minutes after the news broke. That wasn't where my head was at last night.

But I'll be damned if I'm going to let Dixie spew the BS that he has spewed, and try to bring Iraq policy into the mix. As important is it is to finally get rid of OBL, it's just as important to preserve the accuracy of history - too many times it gets distorted and twisted to an agenda because of the emotionalism of the moment. Bush's Iraq policy & the Bush Doctrine have nothing to do with this. I have no doubt that Bush continued the search for OBL while he was President, but I won't have someone extend the search for OBL and the amazing work of our special forces to Iraq policy. It's just not gonna happen.

As I have said before, I don't really understand how you fuckwits manage to misconstrue everything I post, all the time... it's just mystical how that works. But for whatever reason, you seem to be reading things you want to hear me say, into what I actually post, and that is disturbing. It's somewhat of a mental health disorder, if I am not mistaken.

I never said that it wasn't a happy day. I have reiterated it is indeed a glorious day, and I agree we should all set aside politics to enjoy the moment together as one... but... the first inclination from pinheads, is to proclaim a 2012 election victory for Obama over this, and I'm sorry... THAT is politicizing this! I'll be damned if I sit down and shut up, and not challenge this shit! If you want to perceive that as me making this political, that's up to you, but Jarhead was politicizing it in another thread before Obama even made the fucking speech last night!

It sounds as though the "special courier" intel came from Khalid Shaikh Mohammed.

Khalid Shaikh Mohammed has been a treasure to us.....the intell. pried out of him is immeasurably valuable.....

If we had a choice between having Khalid Shaikh Mohammed or OBL in custody....OBL would be a free man.....

nice try....but you're too transparent....like i said....it is amazing that you think anyone believes that you just for no reason contrasted bush with obama

moron

Why is it okay for Trump to be proud of himself for forcing Obama to release his Birth Certificate, yet they are attacking President Obama for saying that he authorized this mission against Osama....

Also, I guess we now know what the more important stuff President Obama was working on was.

No mystery at all. They do that to put you on the defensive, keeping themselves from having to defend against your legitimate arguments.
