Maybe if you would do a little snooping instead of jumping to your favorite conclusion you would know more about it.

Basically, the DOJ under Obama and the FBI spent about 8 months investigating the Trump campaign for Russian ties but came up empty---well, if they have something, they haven't shown it yet. And by that I mean illegal or nefarious ties. A lot of US citizens do business with Russians.

During the course of that, the DOJ made two separate requests from the FISA court [only the DOJ can make the request, hence the tie to Obama]. They were turned down on the first attempt, so they narrowed the legal parameters and got the second attempt granted by the FISA court, later on last year---in October.

Fishing for an October surprise. Which came up empty---or rest assured, the whole world would have known about it then.

That's called using the power of government to undermine a president, by another president.

Do you defend this crap?

obama has been behind the greatest expansion of the surveilance state in history. The NSA, using the IRS to spy on the tea party, etc. I'm sure Obama had nothing to do with the DoJ just like lynch and Clinton just talked about grandkids on the tarmac.
