Get you a plane ticket to Vegas! A lot of flights go to phoenix first, a quick stopover and off to Vegas you go. You can see it from the air on the way there.
To see the Grand Canyon up close, you should take a jenny or donkey ride down the trail to the Colorado and then back up, or take a floating trip down the Colorado- or see it via hellicopter ride.

I have no interest in seeing Vegas, unless there's a good car show going on. The chopper ride would be good, though.

I found Vegas to be a great place to meet good looking women that like to party! And I am talking about nice women, not prostitutes!
Cheap hotels, free drinks, good food, and great shows!
