Official VP Debate Thread

I thought both candidates did pretty well. It goes without saying that Biden was an asshole, but I think the public will perceive the debate to be a tie. That seems to be the general consensus thus far.

Yeah, some people don't want to face the truth and try to pass of terror attacks as something to do with a stupid movie trailer. They expect America to just eat that, even though their own State Department makes it clear they knew it was a terror attack within hours...

We have nothing to fear ????? Tell that to the 4 dead men in Libya and now another in Yemeni......
Tell that to the 28,000,000 unemployed.....
Tell that to the 41,000,000 on food stamps.....
Tell that to the thousand more that will be unemployed in the very near future....

I give it a slight lean to Ryan as he appeared more ready to be President. Nobody wants to have angry Uncle Joe over for Thanksgiving randomly shouting that Iran doesn't have a weapon that could deliver a nuke...

Apparently, you are not familiar with Joe Biden. He acted like Joe Biden. I don't know why you are shocked. You guys make fun of him all the time...

Thats like defending cannibalism by saying, " you just don't know them, they're just acting like normal cannibals".....

I'm not shocked .....I'm just concerned that this dumbo is one breath away from the presidency....

I don't trust Ryan, he is a weasel. At least with angry Uncle Joe you know what you have, Ryan is the guy you have to watch because he seems sneaky.

I am concerned about the hawks.
 
I tend not to get that offended by bad behavior, and am a bit of a nonconformist when it comes to political affairs, so I perceived Biden a lot more favorably than many will.

My friend Mike called me and was not impressed at all. Then again, he's getting increasingly annoyed in general, and just got laid off at Boeing after a year, because the engineers decided to strike for a 7% increase in pay. As such, the left and unions are not currently appealing to him, and he lived in Wisconsin from 2005-2011, so he is familiar with Ryan.
