I'm not taking the early returns to serious. There coming from small rural precinct that trend very conservative. It will be a while before the urban returns come in.

These are not really early returns. Probably like 80% are reporting by now. Half of Boston, and it's still a seven point margin. Nothing in the world is going to make Coakley win.
 
I dunno, maybe if every next precint they count in Boston has 100% for Coakley.

I expect it to at best even out to a four point margin for Brown.

It is not a question of IF coakley loses... she already conceded. 88% reporting... Brown up 5%.

I almost choked (like Coakley) upon reading the last line.

If they're smart (which they obviously aren't) the House will just pass the Senate bill as it is and then work on a new bill to modify the Senate bill through the reconciliation process.
 
I have mentioned it informally, but I would like to take this time to officially back off my prediction of a double digit Coakley win...

LMAO.... probably a good idea...

I would likewise like to back off my prediction that Coakley would still win despite all the polls saying otherwise.
