leaning nobody thought you could get some in hs.
LOL...Topper. I had to say no many times in high school. You have to realize that I was a big fish in a little pond there. Voted best looking, Friendliest, Most likely to succeed, not to mention pitching to a record of 12-1 (0.96 ERA) with a win in the State Tournament....Batting average above the norm....a normal jock. But a committed Christian as well. Never drank or fooled around. Not the norm but not some twisted soul either. I worked hard to keep myself out of tempting situations. Had to continue saying no into adulthood. Found 30 bucks on the floor of a convenience store one time (I was 23) and handed it to the lady running the register. She looks around the store, sees no one and says, "How 'bout me and you buy some beer with this, go get drunk and see what happens?" Wasn't a bad looking gal either, (I guess her at 19 or 20) but who knows how much she's "been around." Anyway, I couldn't get out of that store fast enough. Yes, being chaste is often a choice people make and I respect them tremendously for it.
