O'Donnels Campaign Song

leaning nobody thought you could get some in hs.

LOL...Topper. I had to say no many times in high school. You have to realize that I was a big fish in a little pond there. Voted best looking, Friendliest, Most likely to succeed, not to mention pitching to a record of 12-1 (0.96 ERA) with a win in the State Tournament....Batting average above the norm....a normal jock. But a committed Christian as well. Never drank or fooled around. Not the norm but not some twisted soul either. I worked hard to keep myself out of tempting situations. Had to continue saying no into adulthood. Found 30 bucks on the floor of a convenience store one time (I was 23) and handed it to the lady running the register. She looks around the store, sees no one and says, "How 'bout me and you buy some beer with this, go get drunk and see what happens?" Wasn't a bad looking gal either, (I guess her at 19 or 20) but who knows how much she's "been around." Anyway, I couldn't get out of that store fast enough. Yes, being chaste is often a choice people make and I respect them tremendously for it.

It's just like when faux "patriots" get all excited whenever they hear "Born in the USA" on the radio.

They're too stupid to realize it's about what's gone wrong with this country.

Now this I can agree with...the part about the song, anyway. People never really listen to that song and just start applauding and singing along. I really wish they'd show some intelligence.

There are plenty of songs out there that people listen to because they like the beat or whatever but don't really know the real meaning of the song. However, yeah, there are a lot of people who don't know the real meaning of this song.

The Saint's game song in get chrunk, and it's hillarious to see the lilly white fans dancing and singing stand up and get crunk (ying yang twins)
Chrunk means drunk and high on chronic (good weed).

We get offended by self-righteous pinheads who think they can force their morality on everyone else and dictate to everyone how to live their lives.

Well, apparently she keeps her thoughts on sexual morality to the people in her Church organizations... And yet, outrage from the left.

But making fun of the witchcraft thing by using a song about seduction and sex with her background seems somewhat ridiculous. I mean, yes the song is called "Witchcraft" but the song has lyrics and those lyrics are about seduction and sex and she's an unmarried chaste woman and makes it widely known.

Oh.. more faux intellectualism from the resident Jester ... another failed attempt at discrediting the messenger. :fu:

I just think its funny how liberals get offended by the idea of sexual morality... :cof1:

I think it's more a case of calling "bullshit". From public figures talking about family values while playing footsie in washrooms to government prosecutors hiring prostitutes to Dr. Laura lecturing on sexual virtues when her youth was anything but virtuous liberals tend to be skeptical.

I'm not sure what Miss O'Donnell considers "dabbling" to be when she said she "dabbled in witchcraft" but many years ago I had a blind date with a gal who dabbled in witchcraft. She told me certain ceremonies/celebrations were conducted in the nude and after the ceremony the group engaged in sex.

To quote Shakespeare, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

I'm not shocked by anything regarding O'Donnell, frankly. And I really couldn't care less about her opinions on religion and human sexuality.

But for some reason, you goofy bitches think the "uber-conservative" voters in Delaware are going to really give a shit about this stuff?

It's funny... her political career has been made by being the Republican nominee in Delaware against Biden for years and years, so she is obviosly not some flaky nutjob, she obviously resounded with some voters to win the Republican nomination all those other times... it's odd how she just suddenly became this person with no credibility and a total political joke of a candidate, isn't it?

Here's what I think... 1) Delaware is FULL of Independent-minded voters, who are not submerged in koolaid, and who are looking for an alternative to (R) and (D) politics as usual. 2) Her 'checkered' past is a testament to the fact she is an average American person, just like most of us. 3) Democrats have chosen to employ the politics of personal destruction, instead of addressing the issues.

If O'Donnell doesn't fall into the trap of trying to defend herself from all this nonsense, and stays on message, she will win the general election. I don't care what Karl Rove says, or Charles Krauthammer, or any of the Neocon pundits who have voiced their opinions on her. Independent voters in Delaware are not going to be influenced by something Karl Rove says, or by some left-wing distortion of what O'Donnell might have said 20 years ago. They are going to look at two candidates, and vote for the one who is the best choice for them, based on the issues and their positions, simple as that.

Stupid is as stupid does and I like you, think there are other things far more worrisome about her, and she is probably glad this has come up to deflect from her back financial choices and what she plans to do with the finances of the US when she can't keep her own in good standing, seems ironic to me.

She has always been a joke candidate. She's the loony tune that always runs against Biden and always loses that no one really gives a shit about because she's always been a definite loser before the campaign even began.

Here's what I know: (1) O'Donnell has a 54% negative approval rating among likely voters and only 31% think she is fit to hold public office.

See above.
