Occupy Wallstreet. Whats the message.

I keep hearing the news reporters ask what the message of this movement is. The message hasn't changed sense it was first spoken in the 1960ies.Its just that the message hasnt been heard for a while and some have forgotten it.

Aside from the complete irelevence of this remark, there is no Solyndra "scandal".

What percentage of statr up businesses fail?
No scandal? Legislators are discussing an independent prosecutor. Its great fodder for the GOP nominee in 2012.

What percentages of business are predicted to fail by government auditors, but the administration invests a half-billion of tax dollars in in anyway, then it fails on the same schedule as predicted? :)

Good point. When we were forced to abandon our allies in Vietnam it resulted in the deaths of about 3 million of them. I guess they want the same deal in Iraq and Afghanistan. *shrug*

That figure of 3 million is the number of Vietnamese killed in the war not afterwards. It is undeniable that people died after but it was nothing like the 2 million that died at the hands of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. It is ironic that they came to power as a result of Kissinger's bombing of Cambodia and it took the Vietnamese to remove them whilst the world sat on its hands. When I went to Cambodia I managed to get the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, it is a powerful indictment of the profound effect that the US had on that benighted little country.

Rummel estimates that a minimum of 400,000 and a maximum of slightly less than 2.5 million people died of political violence from 1975-87 at the hands of Hanoi.

It is basically the same as the Tea Party Message, "We are pissed."

The difference is that the Tea Party blamed Democrats and the 99% blame Corporations and the 1%

No, the TEA Party blames the government reaching beyond its Constitutional mandate along with punitive taxation.

As an aside... Because the OWS groups are being accused of being dirty, disruptive, and down right smelly as in stinky- They have been named the "fleabaggers"
