The Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has released a report on its investigation into the recovery of text messages from FBI mobile devices that were once operated by disgraced former FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

The report reveals disturbing details about the inner workings and lack of transparency in the office of special counsel Robert Mueller, who has been investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election for the past 575 days and has failed to publicize any evidence of Trump-Russia “collusion.”

The OIG report found that all of the texts off of Strzok’s and Page’s mobile phones that they had received while they were working for the special counsel’s office (SCO) were deleted.

Amazing the mileage the conservative conspiracy machine can generate from these Strzok and Page Emails. They take over five thousand Emails between the two and come up with a dozen or two phrases which they then promote as an organized conspiracy to take down Trump.

Common sense dictates if it was as directed as they describe you would think that given the sheer number of Emails they could come up with more than the dozen or so phrases then the ones they have framed

I'm still wondering what happened to the "secret societies" which was the demogogues hot innuendo for a week or so

“Our review of these new documents raises grave concerns regarding an apparent systemic culture of media leaking by high-ranking officials at FBI and DOJ,” Mr. Meadows said. “Review of these new documents suggest a coordinated effort on the part of the FBI and DOJ to release information in the public domain potentially harmful to President Donald Trump’s administration.”

Mr. Meadows provided an example.

On April 10, 2017, Mr. Strzok text-messaged Lisa Page, his lover and then-FBI counsel, to discuss a “media leak strategy.”

“I had literally just gone to find this phone to tell you I want to talk to you about media leak strategy with DOJ before you go,” Mr. Strzok said.

So, let me see if I got this straight, Mark Meadows, who is a Trump lackey head of the Oversight Committee, sent a letter to the Assistant AG complaining about media leaking in the FBI, and as his proof he cited one generalized phrase, that is phrase, from an Email supposedly proving the FBI leaked? Is that correct?

And that is your proof the FBI leaked information?

This investigation began months before Mueller was appointed SC. Missing messages covered the period of December 15, 2016 to May 17, 2017. Did you even read the report?

A letter from DOJ Assistant Attorney General Stephen E. Boyd to Chairman Charles E. Grassley, Senate Judiciary Committee,
dated January 19, 2018, stated that the FBl's technical system for retaining text messages sent and received FBI mobile devices
failed to preserve text messages for Strzok and Page from December 14, 2016 to approximately May 17, 2017. The letter
indicates that the collection tool failure was due to •'misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning, and software
upgrades that conflicted with the FBl's collection capabilities."
