Tend to think of myself as a human being with genuine political opinions - but given you 'climate realist' tagline I'm guessing you're not a fan of TTIP, or commercial activity in general. Must be nice to live in the lap of luxury and disdain the means by which it is provided.

Truth of the matter is, we got bounced into this referendum by a vocal minority mid-election campaign. Wouldn't have happened otherwise. Shouldn't have... and what we have now is the commies and the facists conspiring to drag us out of the EU. It's totally illegitimate, but that's politics for ya!

I am in favour of some aspects of TTIP especially the lowering of tariffs but that is a mere Trojan Horse to allow US corporations unfettered access to European markets and to sue their arses if they don't comply. I am a huge supporter of Brexit and getting out from under the yoke of the EU tyranny. Any organisation that could seriously entertain letting Turkey in is just insane in my opinion. It is only a matter of time before the whole house of cards collapses under the weight of debt accumulated by the PIIGS.

Tom fancies himself an expert in world affairs because he spends so much time on EasyJet.
Democracy is wasn't. Farge wasn;t elected. He may have been standing for office, but he used that as a platform to agitate on immigration, thus playing on the historic divisions in the Tory party over Europe - in the middle of the election campaign, Cameron had no choice but to promise a referendum. That's politics, but it ain't bleedin' democratic.
I think Tom and I are going to get on - like a mongoose and rattlesnake.

Tom can't imagine that so many people find fault with his slavish Daily Mail regurgitations, so he assumes that all criticism must originate from one source...namely, your humble servant.

Really, is that what he thinks? Wow, paranoid delusions. Sorry to disappoint. I'm neither a troll nor a sock puppet - as I'm sure time will tell. I read his other thread, and it was the Telegraph he's regurgitating. Same thing - but the dictionary they use at the Telegraph doesn't have pictures in.
