Russia has now handed over to the US its plans for making Syria's chemical weapons safe, Russian media say.

What would you prefer? Guided missiles being fired into Syria that intend to take out caches of WMD and probably a couple hundred or thousand innocents or a peaceful and verifiable resolution with Syria and their greatest ally, Russia? You cats are in WAAAAAAYYYYYY over your heads.

Oh yeah, this is impressive. This is the international equivalent of saying something stupid to the wrong kid, getting your ass kicked, and then having your mom come running out of the house to break up the fight.

Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov outlined three main phases of the proposal:

Syria joins the Chemical Weapons Convention, which outlaws the production and use of the weapons
Syria reveals where its chemical weapons are stored and gives details of its program
Experts decide on the specific measures to be taken

Mr Lavrov, completing a visit to Kazakhstan, said: "I am sure that there is a chance for peace in Syria. We cannot let it slip away."

And to think our great leader planed all this himself. WOW! The Russians played right into his hands.

Maybe Obama should just step back and let the Russians take care of more problems so our great leader looks that much greater.

I have a bridge to sell you in Manhattan if you believe that Syria has any intentions of turning over its chemical weapons.

First off, finding these things is challenging in the best of times. We should have learned that from Iraq.

Secondly, how do you propose this happen in the midst of a bloody civil war? Do you think the rebels and Assad are going to call a cease fire so that Hans Blix can go over and gather up chemical weapons? Do you think Assad is just going to pack them up and take them to local FedEx and send care of Barack Hussein Obama?

Do you lefties think any further than trying to defend your incompetent affirmative action president?
 
Syria didn't admit they even had them right up until they said "we will give them up".

Obama hatched this plan during the G20 conference.....
He met with Putin
He said "WTF do I do now"
Putin looked at him, frowned and left.
Obama said "It worked!".......
 
Assad wouldn't even admit they existed let along say he would give them up Before Putin said it publically.


Dude this is proof they are liars and that Pootin doesn't want it left with Assad killing more people with the weapons Russia kept selling them when no one else would.

Just like you said "so what" when Obama got OBL and then spent months trying to say he gets no credit for the get
