Police said a domestic incident turned fatal Saturday afternoon when Marcos DeJesus, 27,was found strangled to death inside a home.
Authorities responded to the house around 1 p.m. after Katherine Santiago, 24, called 911.
DeJesus was unconscious when police arrived. He was pronounced dead on the scene, authorities said.
Evidence suggest that DeJesus was strangled with an extension cord.
Santiago was taken into custody and charged with murder. She is being held on $1 million bond. Santiago has seven previous arrests including arrests for assault.
