Obamacare and Health Care Mandate Now Illegal in Ohio..

For most of the year, I have thought that Obama is toast in the next election. After watching the field of GOP "hopefuls" for awhile, I actually think it's certain that he'll win at this point.

Honestly, I'm genuinely worried about guys like Damo when that happens.

Damo will be alright, he'll probably get drunk for a couple of weeks. But will we notice? Alias, Dy, and the rest of the real cretins may commit suicide though.

Which I am totally against?

Except for that "Personhood" amendment, which was kind of a big deal.

That was a stupid amendment. It failed here too. It's going to fail everywhere because there just aren't enough of the religious "right" to overturn the rest of the party.

Maybe republicans will get a hint and stop catering solely to the religious. However the "yeah except"... is really a "yeah except"...

Yeah, that must be it. A grand librul media conspiracy.

It really isn't a conspiracy, since well over 80% of them report to be liberal. One doesn't have to hide in a room and make a plan, one just has to lean a bit in their reporting, and since the numbers are overwhelmingly in that direction that minute lean becomes a standard.

I love how "the conservatives" were able to do this, but those same people voted to kill the law on public union bargaining. And yes, the Obamacare ban is a big deal.
It's Ohio. the midwest. Illinois is much the same. the republicans are really just democrat lite. they have a shade of conservative values....mainly with the rejection of being told they HAVE to do something. If it's couched in terms of 'this is better for you', they'll swallow it like any other democrat.

You shouldn't be, I'll be fine. Again, it is a year until the election, that is an incredibly large amount of time in an election cycle. I've repeatedly stated to people here that if the republicans win it will not be "easy"...

Hilarious.

Edit: DanO called and wants his schtick back.

They actually wrote that in the story though, the conservatives were apparently able to get enough people out to vote against Obamacare, but then they mysteriously disappeared when the ballot mentioned unions? Seriously, that's just funny.

We'll be here to comfort him as that's what Liberals do.

It could be a turning point. After all, Damo is an OK guy so it would be nice to welcome him into the Liberal family. :)

But hey, on the day after the Personhood Amendment went down, and the union-busting bill was destroyed, you want to cheer a symbolic victory.

Don't let me rain on your parade!

A man is allowed to dream. The prospective Repub leaders are dropping like files. All that remains of Cain is to "pack up his desk and go home" but he may be like Gingrich and chase the cameras like Puss in Boots chases the light.

It's a fun movie. The Mrs. and I went last Friday afternoon.

From what I see here, the media is reluctant to report on something that would reflect negatively on liberal politics.

Its very naive to believe that these media corporations do anything but report on something that will increase the bottom line. Maybe being reluctant to report on something that would reflect negatively on lineral politics helps the bottom line, if that were the case we would both be right.

The media corporations care much more about money than politics.
