That makes sense, he might also be hiding a smoking gun to get egg on the oppositions face. He has done that in the past, although never with such important matters. Can you say Birth Certificate? It smells like a set up in a way, how it appeared he was not going to ask congressional approval then did. I don't put it past him for this all to be political gotcha for the midterms or to weaken Randall Paul for Hillary.

Only an inept president would play his hand before he knows what his cards are. That's exactly what Obama has done.
Much respect for you brother, but on this one, you're wrong. Virtually the entire planet stands against Obama.
Consider the possibility that Obama really did drag his feet on his red line. Then consider that his hand has been force with the mock up gas attack that was supposedly by Assad's regime. Then consider that Obama could be manipulating the situation with the US congress in order to lose. Is he smart enough to do that to prevent a war that he obviously never did want to have? I think he is!
No matter how much you people hate Obama you can't not think about what's really going on. Will it work?
You're right about Reagan of course. But that should cause you to stop and take stock of the situation this time around. It should cause you to think about forsaking the propaganda efforts of your country and even of a president that you support.
You have to rise above the politics even though your political foes aren't capable of doing so.
Assad's regime obviously didn't use gas on it's enemies. This time the propagandist lies are just not plausible. Perhaps put it down to desperation and no other good justification available.
If Obama fails to get his war then won't you have won in all honesty? Isn't that what 'we' lefties are really all about?
