Mira, the book’s pivotal character, suffers through a bad marriage and a painful divorce (her doctor husband leaves her for another woman), returns to college, has a love affair and finds friends among other emerging women in the late 1960s. There is no romantic happy ending. “I wanted to break the mold of conventional women’s novels,” French says. “People don’t know what to make of it.”

This is a Breitbart article quoting an official of the extremely biased Center for Immigration Studies. Relying on either of those independently, much less in the same article, is worse (if it's possible) than relying on Orangetweet for honesty.
