In November 2014, the largest Uzbek faction fighting in Syria pledged its allegiance to the Taliban.

I'm with you on the Chinese..but again so what? There has been a "free Tibet" movement since 1958,
and what has become of it? Tibet lost it's culture in favor of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
It's so bad the Dalai Lama has raised several possibilities of what might happen after he dies.
Perhaps he will choose his successor during his lifetime, Maybe his soul will transfer to a person outside of Tibet.
Maybe the Dalai Lama will end with his death.
The point is nations run their own countries for good or bad. It's a natural way humans organize themselves.
