Normalizing a military coup?

It does work. So well that the United States has kicked the ass of anyone who challenged it to date. The problem that our people are becoming lazy and looking backwards at what "used to be" instead of working hard like our foreparents and earning it by being the best.

The last true war America was involved in was WWII and that's when America was still a white ethnostate. As recently as the fifties, America was about 90% white. Every war America fought after that was really just bullying a third world country. And even then, sometimes we lost, like with Vietnam.
In recent years, America has done alright when compared to third world countries, but has also lagged behind many first world countries. This was a result of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, which undid our policy of prioritizing white immigration.

Why do you immediately go to war? How about the US leading the world in democracy? Leading the world in technology? Leading the world in universities?

Obviously there are problems. There extremists see only two solutions; crush the dissent or burn it all down and start over. Neither one is good for the nation. It's better to just fix the problem. The hard part is how to fix cultures. It's not easy and it takes a lot longer than the over-anxious care to give it. There are no single, simple solutions. Saying "Stop being racist" doesn't do a damn thing.

That's the rational plan. My post was explaining why anyone would be so full of rage as to burn down their city.

I agree with your POV that this is complicated and there are no simple solutions.

But if you kill my children -- you have no idea whatsoever what jihad is. I've done what I can to personally direct my life and my end years to be peaceful, tranquil, fulfilling, and above all helpful to others. But if you kill my children, you've unleashed the apocalypse. I stand with all mothers who have lost their children to the hate, the racism, the inequality in America.

You said "the United States has kicked the ass of anyone who challenged it to date." By talking about countries who "challenged" us, it sounded like you meant war.

But if you want to talk about those other things, we don't do better than all other first world countries there either. American Democracy is so bad that the last two Republican presidents didn't even get the most votes in order to become president. We also have so much money in politics that our elections are mostly controlled by the rich.
We do good with technology, but we don't lead the world in it. That's still Japan. As for universities, America has some great ones, but not the best, and we still have problems with education and literacy rates.
Personally, I think the most important metric that we should be judging countries by is overall quality of life. And America is always behind the Nordic countries, the German Sprachraum, and the Low countries.

You assumed wrongly. Yes, challenged can be war or it can be the technology or the largest economy.

The EU would not have come about when it did if it didn't feel the need to compete with the United States. Socialist nations can't compete against the US; the USSR imploded and the PRC adapted by forming capitalist zones. The competition to create wealth has overtaken war in many respects.

No, the EU was formed as a way to mediate conflict between European countries. After two world wars, this was a way to try to prevent more wars between European countries.

Of course America is going to do better than a Dictatorship like the Soviet Union. I'm saying that America doesn't do as well when compared to other first world countries like those in modern Europe.

The Left Is Setting The Stage For A Coup If Trump Wins
Under the guise of planning for right-wing violence if Trump loses, Democrats are gaming out how to steal the election if Trump wins.

In June, Biden boasted that the military “will escort him from the White House with great dispatch.” Later, his campaign released a statement saying, “the United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House.”

Are you saying competition with US business had nothing to do with it? Are you denying the aftermath of the Marshall Plan?

The US, like any other country has its strengths and weaknesses. Where we are weak now is by acting as lazy and complacent as Romans and Brits toward the end of their empires. Either we'll smarten up and adapt for the 21st Century or we'll be overtaken by some other group which is smarter.

The Marshall Plan wasn't the cause of the EU. It certainly helped the EU become more powerful since it funded Western Europe, but it wasn't required.
And no, competition with American business didn't have anything to do with it. Even if it did later help with competition, the original point was to stop the endless European wars.

So why isn't this happening in other first world countries?
The reason the British Empire fell is because by the end of WWII, the UK didn't have the ability to hold on to all of its overseas territories. WWII was pretty much a disaster for the European countries that won, too.
As for the Roman Empire, there were a few factors in their fall, but one of them was Multiracialism. When Rome became racially mixed, the empire fell.

True, but like it takes two to Tango, it takes everyone to make peace and only one to make war. Outside agitators happen. They are matches to a fuse. It's very important to realize that agitators can't light anything that doesn't exist. IMO, the best solution is not to worry about the "outside agitators" but figure out why that fuse exists and what can be done to resolve it while preserving "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness".

LV426 is blaming me for advocating Biden for weeks on another thread (he can't prove it). Elsewhere PmP is calling me a "demmycrat" (he knows I'm not). They can scream lies all they want but it doesn't change who I am and I don't have to become violent or upset over it as they often seem to indicate people should do because that's what they want to do. Both seem to have a lot of frustration in their own lives in order to express to much emotion. Since it's mostly likely simple displaced aggression (kick-the-cat syndrome) I try to not take it personal, but sometimes I fail.

It's still the responsibility of one at a time. People are responsible for themselves.
Plus, every human being is a walking powder keg. What makes a difference is self control.

They have no self control, emotionally retarded, won't work and create instead of destroying and haven't the ability to converse.....and may have been raised by hyenas.:dunno:

But haven't people like that always existed? They didn't just come out of nowhere.
