No more Kneeling for NFL

Think about it. You think Trump had advanced notice that Kapernik was going to kneel? Of course he was kneeling long before Trump made a big deal of it while totally missing the point. Or Trump lied about the reason., Trump has no trouble doing that crap.

I definitely think there will be unintended consequences. I don't think the players will take this laying down and when half of them stay in the locker room I don't for one second believe that it will appease the fans that were upset by them kneeling. I'm sure this rule, even though it is supposedly CBA proof will be fought by the players union and it will get nasty. The horse has left the barn for the NFL and I think they're headed for even more trouble down the road.

For the record, as long as anthem participation doesn't become a scoring category in fantasy football, I couldn't care less what the players do during the anthem because I don't slap an exalted status on paid entertainers, and I've been in the stands around enough asshole fans that disrespect the anthem and get a free pass to know that much of this is just posturing on both sides.

I'm reasonably sure that everyone in the USA who watches current events knew that Kaepernick was kneeling, and why.

He can kneel all he likes, now that he's not playing in the NFL, nobody seems to care.
