"They" better not be Burning any Stakes on the Grill
I don't know, but we "hillbillies" won't be. Our steaks come from local farmers and butchers and grilled by some pretty damn good "chefs," even the drunk ones

I can't wait ... finally some good weather
Yes, but our's is ending on Sunday, so I'm enjoying what we have. Took the Cobra on a nice long cruise on the country back roads and stopped for a milkshake at a rural ice cream drive-in last evening. It was relaxing, but the GF still has trouble getting in and out of it.
Putting in a new Chromed Alternator on Saturday ... before my Tee Time.
Debating on going to a car show Sat. It's about 1 1/2 hrs. away on a heavily traveled highway to get there and I haven't heard back from the other guys if they're going.
Hell, I might just stay home and mow grass. We'll see.
I'm getting the Grass Mowing out of the way today.
When the anthem is played, and the flag is raised, people, no matter where they are, should stand and honor both.
Of course a person has the right to not do either, but if they are not showing the proper respect to our nation's great symbol of freedom, they're disrespecting those who have sacrificed so much for the very freedom they have to protest...
Stay in the locker room, guys and gals if you feel the need. The majority of Americans will be standing tall, hats off, hand over their heart and singing loud and proud...
I respect all of our military-that's why I feel the proper respect should be shown for the flag and the anthem... I don't hesitate to remind people at events, btw... To stand, to remove their hat, to be quiet if they aren't going to sing..![]()
That being said...
Why is it so impossible to have a reasonable discussion with you? You just can't see to find a way to reply with out overreacting and completely twisting whatever I post...
Why is that?
(I'm sure your thanking, lurking mentor will answer for you as is the norm, but I'd like to hear from you...)
race card?
really, wow didn't see that coming did we
when all else fails huh?
I call bullshit.
Jerks like you don't realize that "protesting" is a part of the fabric of America.
And you're entitled to your opinion. As are the ones who want to continue to protest. They're just not going to be able to kneel during the anthem and presentation of the flag...a special moment...I will be particularly happy that this more than likely means the end of that kind of "protest" at games and events where children are participating...I call bullshit.

I'll be particularly happy to see no more "taking a knee" at games where children are the participants...
