Not really, Canada has a stricter immigration policy and they are very strict on vetting their refugees, they do it way better than us.


Most likely they would come in on a work or student visa. my point is not that I am overly concerned with our southern border, but that we have to go through all sorts of stupid shit in the name of antiterrorism for shit thats never happened, but you all think it's impossible and no need to worry about terrorists coming throughough our southern border.


I guarantee you more terrorists have come through mexico than in my shoes or laptop. or my bottle of water.

Anyone could enter Canada as a tourist, student or businessman and the come through our northern border. yet you dont seem to care, just as you dont seem to care about those who enter the US legally and overstay their visas. Its only the southern border and the hoards of brown people you care about.

I prefer Mexico, the weather is far better.

I care equally about this from both borders, very little.

I think you got it about right. anti-terrorosim in the USA is about identifying targets and surveillance.
The less targets, the easier surveilance.

why would anyone not want the border secured,so we can ID potentials coming in? as opposed to illegals?

agreed. I am for an almost open immigration system, based on merit first. But I agree we need to secure our border, though a fence is not the answer imo. Dry up the bennies.

can you imagine a merit based immigration system with secure borders?
A fence not the only answer - Immigration reform would go a long way (changing asylum laws for ex.)

But I have no confidence in a Dem not enforcing or illegal entry drying up . Hence the wall
