My wife is Canadian. I travel there almost twice every year for months at a time and have a summer home there. I can tell you there is little difference, and I have lost longtime friends as a result of my support of Trump. There is a BIG difference between the people of Canada and the government of Canada.
Funny, not what your Messiah says
And don’t worry, Canada doesn’t want it be part of the U.S., besides, the last thing all those ruby red republican southern States wants is a Canada erasing their legislative power
It may anger you, but developed countries are almost entirely to the left of even the American Democratic Party. For instance, there is no mainstream party in a developed country outside the USA who does not support universal healthcare. The Democrats mostly support it, but not fully, which makes them outliers. The Republicans are almost completely against it, which makes them bizarre, compared to most of the world.
I am not sure where you came up with that claim. You don't know much about Canada or its politics.Given that most of Canada is not all that liberal / Leftist, most of the new states would end up in the Republican corner.
When Trump brings Canada into the United States, only a hyperpartisan scheming right-winger would think it fair that 40 million people only get two senators.
You would have to bring in the provinces as individual states, meaning a net gain for Democrats or the center-left of between 8 to 17 senators.
