If a shift of 0.3 percentage points can eradicate the United States as a country, the Trump administration must have left the United States in worse shape than anyone thought. Fortunately, it is the political rhetoric that is in worse shape, not the country.

The only real means to address immigration is a complete reform of the immigration system, we are currently operating under a structure established in the 1950s. Unfortunately, those demagoguing the issue make that difficult, while others pimping the issue make it impossible

I 100% agree we need real reform of the immigration system for multiple reasons (and that’s ultimately a big way to address the issue of illegal immigration.)

But don’t act like people on the left don’t have their own issues with immigration reform. Democrats are not in lock step on the issue.
