Nike shares fall as backlash erupts

Yeah...

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

He accuses the "country" of oppression. He's a lying asshole.
Oh no rednecks like you would never discriminate against anyone.

..are you going to wait in line to get a pair of "Kaeps"...lol
'Because a bunch of kids (and "adults" will)...spend money they probably need much more for other things...and be completely unable to tell you what the message is behind the movement...
Wonder how much these will cost?

Interesting that I recommended a Puerto Rican (with only a high school education) as my replacement over the "college educated" whites before I retired. He's doing quite well, I might add.
Whatcha say, asshole?

That's hilarious. I wonder if he's bright enough to understand that burning something he already paid good money for isn't hurting Nike -- only himself? lol

attn. moonbat

I thought the slogan was

believe in something
even if it means sacrificing everything

do you guys ever have a consistent thought

I'd hardly call a 2.6 pt drop a major backlash. They'll probably earn that back by the EOD....maybe tomorrow. It's funny as hell how bent out of shape y'all get over this sillyness. Oh No! Nike is sponsoring a black athlete who protest police abuse of blacks. Wow! Imagine that! LOL LOL LOL

I was thinking of changing my Avatar to Kap but if I did that the smell of urine from all you whiners, who don't have the first fucking clue what freedom and liberty mean, would be intolerable! LOL LOL LOL

The funny part was I didn't really agree with Kap until y'all start pissing your self that a black athlete actually practices his rights!! Shades of Mohamed Ali! LOL LOL LOL

cool story shit stain

Again. I honestly don't care. This is a total non-issue to me. If Kap want's to protest police using excessive violence against unarmed black men by kneeling during the national anthem that's his business. I could give a fig less. This is just another divide and conquer issue that politicians love. This just simply doesn't arise to a level of pissing yourself over it.

Kap is a free American who has the right to peacefully protests as he pleases. That he chooses to do so I could care less about one way or the other. It's a free country!

This is kinda what being free means ya know? You'd have to be a moron to let this get under your skin or be completely clueless about American history.

The other day I saw a video of some redneck with a Cowboy hat that had an American Flag tied around his hat and the stupid hypocrite was bitching about Kap disrespecting the flag. Talk about a major Derp, Derp moment. I'd have to say to Mr. Cowboy that I was taught that our flag is not a fashion statement and to wear it as an article of clothing is disrespectful to our flag and to those who have served our nation. So to see some nit wit criticizing someone else for disrespecting the American flag while they are disrespecting the American flag was just funny as hell to me. :)

OK..‘

Kapernick has ruined his life,
If NIKE wants to give him a bunch of money so they can use him to make them more money, best of luck.

I happen to believe that NIKE will pull this bad idea sooner than later, and that Kapernick will fade away into real estate or something, maybe sell used cars.
He wanted to be a football player, and he mucked it up because he is not the brightest bulb in the box. reap what you sow usually

I want to see the parent, teacher, or coach who buys his son, or student, or team members a shirt that says:
"Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything..."
What in the world was Nike not thinking? smh....
