Newt can beat Obama, but can he beat Romney?

"Newty" in a DEBATE with The Obama, would be almost inhumane to watch. They would literally have to take commercial breaks to scrape pieces of Obama ass off the camera lens. It would be the ULTIMATE Conservative beat down, in every area on every question, from start to finish. On THE ISSUES, this man can carve up just about anyone in the room at any given time, he is a brilliant mind of our time, and that can not be underestimated.

But... if you insist on underestimating him....

Dixie youre running out of Repub bandwagons....

Its a shame this will not happen, Newt cant get the Republican Nomination, but if the Debate occured, Id be BUMPING this thread over and over again, showing that Dixie was wrong ONCE again. If you want to know what is going to happen in Politics, get Dixie's prediction then bet on the opposit.

He's married to the same woman for almost 20 years. No known affairs or indiscretions. I see nothing in his Presidency to show he has no moral compass. He's turned out to be a rather undistinguished executive, but lack of morals? Don't see it.

And how much voter support is Obama gaining from the "values" voters?

More importantly, do you really honestly think, that the 2012 elections will be about who has the best moral character? Okay... if this were 1996 or 2000... maybe that is something the "average voter" is thinking about when they go into the booth, but honestly, with what has happened the past 3+ years, I don't see that. I think people are ready to have a president who knows what the fuck needs to be done to get us back to prosperity, and they are fed up with Keynesian liberals and GoAlongtoGetAlong Republicans, who don't seem to know what it means when we say... STOP SPENDING OUR GODDAMN MONEY! I think the economy and jobs are the #1 priority, not "values issues" and I think you will find the vast majority of GOP, Tea Party, Libertarian, and Independent conservative voters, will agree on that. There may very well be some evangelical Christian fundies who can't get behind Newt, but the question then becomes, would they support Romney? I don't think they would, do you?

They will not support Romney, but the point was that they would not be excited about the presidency of Newt or Romney, and Republicans can't win without a fired up froth of Fundies...

Yes the voter would need someone who was being reprimanded by the House ethics panel over charges that he used tax-exempt funding to advance his political goals."

I forgot about that one. Newt should change his name to, no chance Newt. The White House is salavating at the idea that Newt could eak out the Republican Nomination.

I know that you have your heart set on Romney, I know that you and all liberals are secretly praying to the gods/goddesses you don't believe in, that Romney is Obama's opponent... I understand. But there has not been a single GOP primary vote cast at this time, there is still plenty of time for the nearly 22% undecideds to make up their mind on a candidate. Romney is far from a slam dunk. To put this in perspective, do you know who everyone in America was predicting would be the GOP nominee at this point in the 2008 elections? It wasn't John McCain, he was a dark-horse. The almost 'consensus' choice, was Rudy Giuliani. In fact, until Super Tuesday, he remained in the Top 3 with Romney and Huckabee, McCain was still sucking wind... but catching up.... much like the track Newt is on.

So you can bet on it... I have no idea who the nominee will be... it may very well come down to the convention, and be within a gnat's hair... who knows? I'm not counting Newt out, and I believe it is entirely possible for him to win the nomination. Save this thread for posterity, and we'll see, it should be interesting.

This was during the Newt Witch Trials, when a majority Democrat house wanted to play 'gotchya' politics instead of dealing with the issues of the day. INFORMED people know about this, and remember it well. It is why Newt ultimately resigned, to end the 'derangement obsession', which I think may have triggered a series of, from that point, through to Herman Cain. Yeah... remind voters about how Democrats become obsessed with bringing down a Conservative at any and all costs... that's a real good campaign strategy to draw independents!

I belive in God.

I will mark it. Like I have your other crazy outlandish statements.

It might not be Romney, but I cant imagine who else. I perfer Romney becuase he is a reasonable man and would fall into the catagory of a reasonable president, the others frighten me. I perfer Obama to Romney. Romney also has the best chance of beating President Obama, but I would not want to risk President Obama losing to a wacko.

HaHaHa.... really? It's the Democrats fault?

Your memory is fucked. It was a majority Republican House, the resolution was sponsored by a Republican member of the House and Republicans overwhelmingly voted in favor of it. Newt resigned because his party was sick of his shit.

I thought Cain was gaining momentum because normal people were really pissed about the false accusations from a few lefty bitches?

Today it's Newt?

I am getting whiplash.

Republican primary voters are trolling the bar at closing time hoping to not end up taking home Mitt Romney for the night, but are having trouble finding anyone hotter that isn't a total scumbag/creep/mental case.

Why dont they like Mitt?

Is it because he is mormon?

Is it because he is formerly Pro-Choice?

Is it because he was the archectect of the Health Care Bill?

Is it because he dyes his hair to look like Ronald Regan?

It's pretty simple dude, the man has no real political principles. What does he actually stand for other than wanting to get elected? You may not like Ron Paul but how many people accuse him of putting his finger into the wind to judge where he stands on important issues? Look at Ronald Reagan, there seemed to be many people who voted for him who didn't agree with him on some/many issues but respected him and what he stood for so they supported him.

I respect the success Romney's had in business but as a politician I don't particularly care for him. Why don't you tell us what you think he stands for?

Looks like ditzy has given up on Mandingo.
Ditzy tell us how you squar newts family values push while cheating on 3 wives?
